、stalled in the ground shall remain there. If they are to be removed, the work involved counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.1.6 Where work is to be carried out in inclement weather conditions, suitable precautions shall be taken, in consultation with the client. Examples of such conditi
、ons include frozen ground, or temperatures below 5 C for operations involving concreting work or placing of suspension. The necessary work counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.1.7 Water levels in the borehole shall be measured daily, both before the start and end of work, and whenever w
、ork is interrupted, where the borehole is not completed directly after excavation. The results shall be documented and passed on to the client each working day. 3.2 Installation of structural elements Structural members (e.g. anchorages, steel girders, precast concrete components and the like) shall
、 be protected from damage while being installed in the borehole. DIN 18302:2016-09 11 3.3 Installation of filler and sealing materials 3.3.1 Materials and components shall be installed in accordance with DIN EN 1536 (for bored piles), DIN EN 14199 (for micropiles) or DIN EN 12699 (for displacement p

Where empty boreholes are deeper, the top of the pile cap may measure another 10 cm for each metre of additional empty borehole depth. 3.3.3 Where rei

Any further tests and investigations count as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.3.6 Filler materials to be placed in sections sh
、all be placed with a positional deviation of 50 cm per section up to a maximum depth of fill of 30 m; over this it shall be +10 cm for each additional 10 m of depth of fill. 3.4 Installation of measuring devices 3.4.1 DIN 4107 (all parts) shall be observed when installing geotechnical measuring devi

、creens and sealing layers. 3.4.4 The inside diameter of casings shall not be smaller than that of screens. If joints with the casings need to be watertight or airtight, this counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.4.5 Casings shall reach up above the working platform. If casings are not to
、 reach up above the working platform, measures shall be taken to prevent the entry of solids or fluids. The necessary work counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.4.6 The completion of boreholes shall be documented in accordance with DIN 4943. DIN 18302:2016-09 12 3.5 Installation of well
、construction materials 3.5.1 Drill cuttings shall not be used as fillers for drinking water wells. 3.5.2 Depending on the condition of the ground, the contractor shall, in consultation with the client, specify the length and position of the casings, screens and sealing layers. 3.5.3 The inside diame
、ter of casings shall not be smaller than that of screens. If casing joints need to be watertight or airtight, this counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.5.4 Casings shall reach up above the working platform. If casings are not to reach up above the working platform, measures shall be tak

The necessary work counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.5.5 Pipes installed to ensure hydraulic separation and protect against the entry of surface water shall be watertight, as shall their joints. The annular space between the pipes and the
、borehole wall shall be permanently sealed. 3.5.6 Well heads ensure a watertight seal for the well. 3.5.7 The completion of boreholes shall be documented in accordance with DIN 4943. 3.6 Installation of geothermal elements 3.6.1 Depending on the condition of the ground and the prevailing ground water
、 conditions, the contractor shall, in consultation with the client, agree on the specifications for geothermal elements. These shall be based on the EA Geothermie1). 3.6.2 After installation of the geothermal elements, the borehole shall be filled from the bottom to the top with a suspension that is
、 compatible with the local ground and ground water conditions and with the operation of the geothermal system. 3.6.3 The completion of boreholes using geothermal elements shall be documented. 1)Publisher: DGGT Deutsche Gesellschaft fr Geotechnik e.
