DIN 18308:2016-09 7 1 Scope 1.1 This standard deals with the drainage of land by means of drain pipes or mole drains and the installation of infiltration systems (with or without water retention) and also covers placement of materials and components
37、 with a permanent filter function and permitting percolation of water. 1.2 This standard does not cover the associated earthwork (see DIN 18300), the laying of closed conduits and drain pipes (including manholes) for sewerage purposes (see DIN 18306), vertical drainage at great depths and deep-well
38、infiltration. 1.3 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18308 shall take precedence. 2 Materials and components The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 2 shall be supplemented as follows: The following DIN Standards

41、l be in accordance with the following standards: DIN EN 932-3 DIN EN 933-1 DIN EN 933-4 DIN EN 1367-1 2.2.2 Mixes for use in land drainage The water permeability of mixes for use in land drainage according to subclauses 3.2, 3.3 and 3.4 shall be determined as described in DIN 18035-5. 2.2.3 Mixes fo
42、r use in infiltration work The water permeability of mixes for use in infiltration work (according to subclause 3.5) shall be determined as described in DIN 18130-1. 3 Execution of work The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 3 shall be supplemented as follows: 3.1 General 3.1.1 The choice of techni
43、que, the scheduling of work, and the type and deployment of equipment shall be left to the contractor. 3.1.2 Particular caution is required when working near structures, pipes, cables, drains and sewers. 3.1.3 Any endangered structures shall be made safe in compliance with DIN 4123. The instructions
44、 of the owners or other authorized persons shall be observed with regard to any protective and supporting measures. The necessary work counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.1.4 Where the location of pipes, cables, drains, sewers, survey marks, obstructions and other structures is unknown
45、, this shall be established before work starts. The necessary work counts as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.1.5 Should unexpected cavities or obstructions be encountered, such as undeclared pipes, cables, drains, sewers, survey marks, remains of structures, etc., the client shall be notified
46、 immediately. The necessary work shall be agreed between client and contractor. The work involved counts as a special task (see subclause 4.2.1). Where the obstructions are suspected to be unexploded ordnance, work is to be interrupted immediately and both the client and the responsible authorities
47、notified. The contractor shall immediately take any necessary precautions. The action taken and the ensuing work to be agreed between client and contractor count as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.1). DIN 18308:2016-09 9 3.1.6 Boundary stones and survey marks shall be removed only with the clients
48、consent. The clients marks established for the site shall be guaranteed by other points before they are removed. 3.1.7 Reservations according to VOB/B (DIN 1961), 4, clause 3 could involve in particular the following: any discrepancies between the conditions on site and the specifications, any unexpected ground and ground water conditions, any inadequate information for working near buildings, trees and shrubs, any inadequacy regarding the receiving waters and any risk of backflow. 3.2 Protection of structures Drainage for the protection of existin
