Without this information, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB/A (DIN 1960)

39、with setts or slabs. It also applies to surrounds, drainage channels and gutters made with setts or slabs. 1.2 This standard does not apply to sett and slab pavements that are laid on buildings and do not have a base and drainage layer. DIN 18318:2016-09 7 1.3 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also ap

DIN 18318:2016-09 8 3 Execution of work The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 3 shall be supplemented as follows: 3.1 General 3.1.1 The choi
46、ce of technique, the scheduling of work and the type and deployment of equipment shall be left to the contractor. 3.1.2 Where work is to be carried out in inclement weather (e.g. in frost), measures shall be taken to prevent damage occurring, in consultation with the client. The necessary work count
47、s as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.1.3 Endangered structures shall be made safe. The instructions of the owners or other authorized persons are to be observed when protective measures are taken. The necessary work counts as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.1). 3.1.4 Should unexpected obstru
48、ctions be encountered, such as undeclared pipes, cables, drains, sewers, survey marks, remains of structures, etc., the client shall be notified immediately. The necessary work shall be agreed between client and contractor. The work involved counts as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.1). If the obstructions are suspected to be unexploded ordnance, the work shall be stopped immediately and the responsible authorities and the client notified.
