Without this information, a specification of works as re
15、quired in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB/A (DIN 1960) cannot be properly drawn up. This information does not form part of the contract. The specification of works shall, in particular, include the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site information 0.1.1 Type, location, size, cond
16、ition, bearing capacity, and accessibility to pedestrian or vehicular traffic, of areas to be searched or cleared, i.e. on land or at the bottom of waters. Any available geographical coordinates or plans of site. 0.1.2 Site history in terms of previous military or civil use. Any known contamination
17、with explosives, previous clearing operations and their results (e.g. inventory of explosive ordnance detected, quantities recovered, location of finds and suspected objects; any known sites with buried ordnance; results of survey and clearing operations on training areas). DIN 18323:2016-09 6 0.5 Accounting of works In the specification of works, accounting of works shall be based on the following units, accounted for separately according to type, materials and dimensio
35、ns: 0.5.1 Volume (m3): removal, haulage and storage of soil on site, storing the excavated material separately, loading, hauling and storage of rubbish, debris, remains of structures, etc. 0.5.2 Area (m2), further subdivided according to depth of clearance, layer thickness and inclination of the gro
36、und (up to 1 : 4 and above 1 : 4): cutting down vegetation and stump removal, breaking up hard surfaces, surveying and probing, clearing. 0.5.3 Length (m): investigation of boreholes, redirecting and safeguarding pipes or cables. 0.5.4 Number of items: felling trees, stump removal, exposure and reco
37、very of munitions and suspected objects, haulage of munitions, accounted for separately according to length of hauling route, filling and marking of containers for transportation. 0.5.5 Mass (kg, t), accounted for separately according to type of material and length of hauling route, for the transpor
38、t of scrap and obstructions on the site. 0.5.6 Hours (h): removal of obstructions, use of personnel, machinery and equipment, surveying and probing during construction work. 1 Scope 1.1 This standard deals with the location (by surveying and probing) and recovery of ownerless unexploded ordnance, an
39、d any preparatory work (such as stump removal, wrecking or demolition) liable to be jeopardized by the presence of munitions. It also covers the removal of soil contaminated by unexploded ordnance and the hauling of the material recovered to the screening and processing areas on the site. 1.2 This s
40、tandard does not cover the handling of munitions containing biological, chemical or nuclear fission materials. DIN 18323:2016-09 7 1.3 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18323 shall take precedence. 2 Materi
41、als and components The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 2 shall be supplemented as follows: 2.1 General For the purposes of this standard, ordnance shall be understood to cover materials, munitions and weapons or parts thereof, which contain or may contain explosives, incendiary agents or smoke-p
42、roducing substances and which are prepared for action. 2.2 Auxiliary structures facilitating probing operations, and support components Auxiliary structures facilitating probing operations and support components used in the recovery of suspected objects shall not contain any material or matter likel
43、y to affect the proper functioning of the probe or the measuring results. 3 Execution of work The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 3 shall be supplemented as follows: 3.1 General 3.1.1 The procedure followed in surveying, probing and ordnance clearance work and the type and deployment of the equi
44、pment shall be left to the contractor. 3.1.2 Before work commences, the contractor shall furnish proof to the client that he has taken the necessary first aid provisions and that he has properly notified the responsible authority of the work. He shall additionally inform both the client and the auth
45、ority of the person responsible for the work. In addition, a site layout plan shall be submitted. This shall indicate, in particular, the site boundaries, emergency routes, the location of the explosives storage area and all available safety and protective equipment and facilities. Proof shall also
46、be furnished that the personnel on the site have been familiarized with the plan. 3.1.3 Explosives shall be kept under lock and key or permanently guarded. Before work commences, the contractor shall furnish proof that the munitions can be kept safe and secure in the explosives storage area. 3.1.4 R
47、eservations according to VOB/B (DIN 1961), 4, clause 3 could involve in particular the following: any discrepancies between the conditions on site and those declared in the specification of works, DIN 18323:2016-09 8 any inadequacy of the probing and clearance technique specified, the condition of t
48、he ground if this is of inadequate strength, unsuitable ambient conditions. 3.1.5 If the ordnance is unfit for transportation or munitions containing biological, chemical or nuclear fission materials are encountered, the client and the authority shall be notified without delay. The area shall be cor
49、doned off immediately and kept under guard. The necessary work counts as special tasks (see subclause 4.2.8). 3.1.6 Records shall be kept once per day of the survey or probing, and the clearance work done, and documented in the plot register. 3.2 Preparing, protecting and operating the site and the
