22、quired for drafting the specification of works The following information supplements the general information specified in DIN 18299, clause 0. Without this information, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB/A (DIN 1960) cannot be properly drawn up. This informati
23、on does not form part of the contract. The specification of works shall, in particular, include the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site information Type and size of free edges and openings that are not secured against falling. 0.2 Details of execution of work 0.2.1 Type of screed,
24、 including wearing courses and protective coverings, location, type of construction, dimensions and details of materials to be used. Design, strength class and nominal thickness. Types and properties of any additives and admixtures. 0.2.2 Colour shade and finish required. 0.2.3 Use of screed and any
25、 mechanical, chemical and thermal conditions to which the screed will be exposed after placement, such as high vertical imposed loads. 0.2.4 Type and thickness of floor covering which the screed is to receive. 36、e. 0.4 Details of associated tasks and special tasks No details are required supplementary to those given in DIN 18299, subclause 0.4. 0.5 Accounting of works In the specification of works, accounting of works shall be based on the following: 0.5.1 Area (m2), accounted for separately according to ty
37、pe of construction and size: preparatory treatment of the base, keying of the base, application of levelling, placing of fill, separating, impervious layers, underlays or slip membranes, sheeting, fitting of insulating material, laying of screed, terrazzo flooring and application of other protective
38、 layers or wearing courses, surface finishing and other treatment. 0.5.2 Length (m), accounted for separately according to type of construction and dimensions: fitting of flanking strip and removal of excess strip (at wall/floor junctions), fitting of battens, beads and joint formers, making of moul
39、dings, skirtings and edges, making and filling of joints, working around or to holes individually measuring 0,1m2. DIN 18353:2016-09 7 0.5.3 Number of items, accounted for separately according to type of construction and dimensions: placing of screed on steps and sills, fitting of beads, profiles an
40、d frames, closing of openings, working around or to holes individually measuring 0,1m2. 1 Scope 1.1 This standard deals with the laying of screed material on floors, including the application of any insulating, separating and protective layers or membranes. 1.2 This standard does not cover the layin
41、g of dry screed boards and the construction of dry floors (see DIN 18340), nor the hot application of mastic asphalt screed (see DIN 18354). 1.3 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18353 shall take precedence

45、n accordance with the building inspectorate approval procedures. 3 Execution of work The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 3 shall be supplemented as follows. 3.1 General 3.1.1 Reservations according to VOB/B (DIN 1961), 4, clause 3 could involve in particular the following: any discrepancies betw
46、een the conditions on site and the specifications, the condition of the base, if it is unsuitable, any surface irregularities in the base/background exceeding the tolerances specified in DIN 18202, any missing datums, any incorrect level of the base, the fall, if this is missing, inadequate, or othe
47、rwise deviates in a way that does not permit application of the screed in accordance with subclause 3.1.4, any missing damp-proofing for components in contact with the ground, pipework laid on the base, without a levelling layer being applied, any inadequately plastered walls, missing door frames or
48、 stop beads, any inclement weather conditions (see subclause 3.1.2), any missing corrosion protection of metal components (e.g. where MA type screed is to be laid). DIN 18353:2016-09 9 3.1.2 If conditions are unsuitable due to the weather or the indoor climate (e.g. temperatures below +5 C, draughts), special precautions shall be taken, in consultation with the client. If work is necessary as a result, this shall count as a special task (see subclause 4.2.2). 3.1.3 Departures from the dimensions specified are permitted subj
