The dimensions of screw gauging memberblanks shall be as given in table A.1.Appendix A (normative)Dimensions of screw gauging member bla
25、nks with nominal diameters over 40 mm up to 120 mmHardened and ground blanks shall be finished to final gauge size.The blank dimensions given in the table below are suitable both for GO screw gauging members and for gaugingmembers for use with check plugs and setting plugs with a pitch as specified
26、here. Where such blanks are usedfor a finer pitch, the thread shall be cut starting from the shank. Blanks for NOT GO screw gauging membersshould be chosen from the extra short, short or medium series.
