It is the first German standard on lattice g
7、irders. 1 Scope This standard specifies the technical delivery conditions and mechanical and geometric properties of lattice girders used for the reinforcement of reinforced and prestressed concrete. The specific requirements for steel grades B500A (1.0438) and B500B (1.0439) used for the manufactur
8、e of lattice girders are covered by DIN 488-1, DIN 488-2 and DIN 488-3. 23、all be designated in the following order: a) term for the product form and/or product name (lattice girder); b) number of this part of DIN 488; c) type and dimensions of the lattice girder; d) nominal dimensions and associated steel grade (name) and surface geometry of the reinforcing steels and/or
24、steel strips used. NOTE Lattce girders can be described as shown in Figure 1 to Figure 4 or by a fully dimensioned drawing. Further information and examples of the designation of lattice girders are given in the informative Annex B. 9 DIN 488-5:2009-08 6 Requirements 6.1 Manufacturing processes 6.1.
25、1 General See DIN 488-1:2009-08, 7.1. 6.1.2 Material for the components The lower chord, upper chord and diagonals shall be manufactured from reinforcing steel according to DIN 488-1, DIN 488-2 and/or DIN 488-3. For upper chords, materials for steel strips according to DIN EN 10025-2 may also be use
26、d. 6.1.3 Manufacturing processes for lattice girders All lattice girders shall be factory-made from bars and/or coils. The connections between the chords and diagonals shall be made by electrical projection welding (electrical resistance spot welding) by automatic machines at the factory. Different
27、reinforcing steel grades may be used for the lattice girder construction. For the indented steel strip upper chord of type S lattice girders, a material with a yield strength (Re) of at least 420 N/mm2, a tensile strength (Rm) of at least 500 N/mm2and an elongation after fracture (A10) of at least 8
28、 % shall be used. For the indented steel strip upper chord of type MQ lattice girders (with loops as shown in Figure 4), material S235JR according to DIN EN 10025-2 shall be used. 6.1.4 Design The ratio of the smallest nominal diameter dminto the largest nominal diameter dmaxshall be greater than 0,
29、3 for bars. If steel strips are welded to bars, the following applies: ts 0,15 d ts 1,5 mm where tsis the thickness of the steel strip; d is the nominal diameter of the diagonal. The cross-sectional dimensions of the upper chord made of steel strip for type S lattice girders shall not deviate by mor
30、e than 4 % in any single case. 6.2 Properties 6.2.1 Properties in the tensile test See DIN 488-1:2009-08, Table 2. 10 DIN 488-5:2009-08 6.2.2 Shear force of the welded joints The joint can consist of one or more welds. 34、of the welded joint in lattice girders with an upper chord made of indented steel strip The strength of the individual weld in sheet upper chords shall correspond to the following minimum values: type MQ lattice girders Fs 15,4 kN type S lattice girders (ts= 1,5 mm to ts= 2,0 mm) Fs 12,0 kN type S l
35、attice girders (ts= 3,5 mm) Fs 21,9 kN. 11 DIN 488-5:2009-08 6.2.3 Bend performance The bend performance of the reinforcing steel used for manufacturing lattice girders is regarded as proven by the rebend test as specified in DIN 488-2 and DIN 488-3. 6.3 Form, dimensions and limit deviations of the
36、lattice girders 6.3.1 Design Possible designs of lattice girders according to this standard are shown in Figures 1 to 4. 6.3.2 Dimensions Brief designations are widely used to describe lattice girders. Their structure can be taken from tables issued by manufacturers. Lattice girders can also be desc
37、ribed as shown in Figures 1 to 4 or by a fully dimensioned drawing. 6.3.3 Limit deviations for the lattice girders The maximum permitted deviations for the manufacturing process are as follows: Length (L): 40 mm/+10 mm if L 5,0 m 0,8 %/+10 mm if L 5,0 m Height (H1, H2): mm 13+Width (B1, B2): 7,5 mm
38、Pitch (Ps): 2,5 mm (mean according to DIN 488-6:2009-08, 6.4) Maximum overhang: can be agreed at the time of enquiry and order. 7 Identification of the products The products shall be identified according to DIN 488-1:2009-08, clause 8. 8 Proof of conformity Proof of conformity to the requirements of

The overall height is generally given as the dimension. For the correlation of the bars to the steel grades, the abbrevia
