2、the International Organization for Standardization (KO), a comma has been used throughout as the decimal marker. 1 Field of application This standard covers fire-resistant hydraulic fluids in the form of class HFAE emulsions prepared from test water and emulsifiable concentrate as specified in DIN 2
3、4 320. 2 Scope The method of test described here serves to provide information on the corrosion behaviour of ready-to-use emulsions when stored without being disturbed. 3 Unit The unit in which the difference in specimen mass before and after testing is given shall be the mg. 4 Principle An emulsion
4、 consisting of a concentrate and test water and in a concentration corresponding to that used in the given application is prepared by stirring. Specimens are then partly immersed in this emulsion for 28 days at 35 OC, and the change in their mass and appearance and any visible changes in the emulsio

Dimensions in mm General tolerances: as in DIN 7168, accuracy grade m. both concentrate and test water shall have a temperature of (25 f 2) OC. Prior to use, clean the stirrer with pure toluene and acetone. Ensure that there is

Hold the pipette so that the concentrate is discharged from a height of about 3 cm onto the upper third of the liquid cone formed by stirring. The pipette shall not drain completely but remain filled to

After adding the specified volume of concentrate, continue stirring for five minutes and then pour 250 ml of emulsion into the beaker of each test assembly. After removal of the specimens from the beaker, examine them for visible deposits. Next, in order to remove the emulsion completely, immerse
21、 them several times, if necessary, first in acetone, then in n-heptane. Weigh the specimen after allowing its surface to dry in air. Examine the specimen for tarnish and the emulsion for any signs of change. A loss of emulsion due to evaporation not exceeding 15 % by volume during the test period is
22、 permissible. Handle the specimen with tweezers during testing and evaluation (see clause 10). 10 Evaluation Compatibility on the basis of the following criteria: a) any deposits on the specimen surface before cleaning; b) difference in specimen mass before and after testing; c) tarnishing of the sp
