3、ahl (Steel and Iron Standards Committee). The specifications given in clause 7 for tolerances on width and length have been taken from DIN EN 10029. The tolerances on thickness, straightness and out-of-squareness are the same as those specified for smooth steel plate in DIN EN 10029. Nominal mass va

4、lues are higher than those specified in DIN EN 10029. Amendments This standard differs from the 1983 edition in that references and material designation have been updated, and the standard has been editorially revised. 5、is standard specifies dimensions and tolerances for hot-rolled embossed steel plate of a design as in subclause 6.1, 3 mm to 1 O mm thick, 600 mm to 2 O00 mm wide, and made of a steel grade as in clause 9. 2 Normative references This standard incorporates, by dated or undated reference, provisions f

11、tion shall be given when ordering: a) quantity to be supplied; b) product designation (plate); c) the number of this standard (DIN 59220); d) symbol for surface design (T or R) (see subclause 6.1); e) nominal thickness, in mm (see subclause 7.1.1); f) nominal width, in mm (see subclause 7.2.1); g) n

12、ominal length, in mm (see subclause 7.3); h) number of the standard for material (see clause 9); i) name or material number of steel grade. 4.2 Optional details The following additional details may be given when ordering: a) particular requirements concerning form supplied (see subclause 6.2); b) pa

13、rticular requirements concerning straightness (see subclause 7.5.2); c) particular requirements concerning out-of-squareness (see subclause 7.5.2); d) requirements concerning acceptance (see subclause 8.1); e) delivery of a different grade of steel than specified in DIN EN 10025 (see clause 9). 14、he customer does not specify otherwise, delivery shall be in accordance with the specifications of sub- clause 4.1. 5 Designation 5.1 Standard designation Designation of steel plate in accordance with this standard shall give the following details, in the order given: - product designation (plate) (

15、see subclause 4.1 b); - number of this standard (DIN 59220) (see subclause 4.1 .c); - name or material number of the steel grade (see subclause 4.1 .i); - symbol for surface design (T or R) (see subclause 6.1); - nominal thickness, in mm (see subclause 7.1.1). 17、s standard shall correspond to the details listed in subclause 4.1. Designation for an order of 20 tonnes of plate in accordance with this standard, of surface design T, with a nominal thickness of 5 mm, a nominal width of 1 200 mm and a nominal length of 2 O00 mm, made from steel of grade S235JRG2

19、lable as design T, as shown in figure 1 or design R, as shown in figure 2. 6.1.2 The dimensions given in figures 1 and 2 are guideline values. 6.1.3 Embossing need not run parallel with the longitudinal edges of the plate. 21、ess 7.1.1 The thickness where the plate is unpatterned shall be taken as the nominal thickness (see sub- clause 8.2.1). 7.1.2 See table 1 for the nominal thicknesses to be preferred when ordering. 7.1.3 Table 1 gives the tolerances on thickness and the permissible variations in thickness for a singl

22、e plate (see subclause 8.2.1). Table 1: Tolerances on thickness and permissible variations in thickness for a single plate 7.2 Width 7.2.1 Embossed steel plate is usually supplied in widths from 600 mm to 2 O00 mm. 7.2.2 The actual width of the plate supplied may be greater than the nominal width or

26、on each plate supplied. 7.5.2 It may be agreed that the deviation from straightness shall not exceed 0,2 YO of the actual length of the plate, and that the out-of-squareness shall not exceed 1 YO of the actual width of the plate (see subclauses 8.2.4 and 8.2.5). 29、han 25 mm from the edges. 8.2.2 Width Width shall be measured perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the plate. 8.2.3 Length The length of the plate is the length of the largest rectangle enclosed in it. 8.2.4 Straightness Deviation from straightness shall be measured as the maximum distance of a

30、 longitudinal edge of the plate from a straight line joining the two ends of this edge, measured on the concave side of the plate. 8.2.5 Squareness Out-of-squareness, U, is the vertical projection of a cross edge on a longitudinal edge (see figure 4). 8.2.6 Flatness For checking plate for deviation

31、from flatness, lay a single plate on a flat horizontal surface so that it rests freely under its own mass (see subclause 7.6.2). Deviation from flatness shall be measured as the maximum distance between the smooth side of a plate and a straightedge 1 O00 mm or 2 O00 mm long, laid on it in any direct

32、ion. Measurements shall be taken at points not less than 25 mm from the longitudinal edges and not less than 200 mm from either end of the plate (cf. figure5). Only a section between two points of contact between the straightedge and the plate shall be considered. U I- 9 Material Plate in accordance

33、 with this standard shall generally be made from a steel grade as in DIN EN 10025. Other grades may be used by agreement only. The specifications given in this standard apply only to materials with specific minimum values for the yield point up to 355 N/mm2.
