8、2-12 3 DIN 6912:2009-06 1 Scope This standard specifies dimensions and technical delivery conditions for sizes M4 to M36 hexagon socket head cap screws with pilot recess, of product grade A as in DIN EN ISO 4759-1 and made of steel and stainless steel. Where screws are to comply with specifications
9、other than those given in this standard, these shall be selected in accordance with the relevant standards, e.g. DIN ISO 261, DIN EN ISO 898-1, DIN ISO 965-2, DIN EN ISO 3506-1 und DIN EN ISO 4759-1. Screws specified in this standard should not be used in the form of screw assemblies with captive wa
10、shers as they are always required to have a short unthreaded portion of shank to compensate for the pilot recess. 39、ion. aFor specifications regarding reduced loadability, see clause 5. 5 Reduced loadability 5.1 Screws made of steel (other than stainless) When tested as specified in DIN EN ISO 898-1 (test series FF1), steel screws covered by this standard may not fulfil the tensile strength requirements for prope
40、rty class 8.8 due to their head geometry. All other requirements shall, however, be met. When testing full-size screws using apparatus as specified in DIN EN ISO 898-1, the minimum ultimate tensile loads, Fm,min, given in Table 3 shall be applied. Any failure shall occur in the shank, along the free
