16、andard is applicable to pipes made from homopolymer polypropylene (PP-H), block copolymer polypropylene (PP-B), random copolymer polypropylene (PP-R) and random copolymer polypropylene with modified crystalline structure and elevated temperature resistance (PP-RCT) as specified in DIN 8078. Attentio

17、n is brought to the fact that existing European product standards apply for some specific applications, which are to be complied with where necessary. Some of these product standards are listed in the Bibliography for the information of users of this standard. Please note that because European Stand

18、ards are continually being developed, this list is not exhaustive. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. 20、pply: 3.1 pipe series number S nominal pipe series number taken from ISO 4065 NOTE To calculate the wall thickness e using equation (1), the “calculated” S-values in ISO 4065 are to be used. 1S2 +d= e(1) 3.2 standard dimension ratio SDR ratio of the outside diameter of a pipe to its wall thickness N

DIN 8077:2008-09 6 4 Safety factors Safety factors shall be specified in the application standards. Minimum safety factors SF are given in Table 1 and take account of the material characterist

22、ics. Since the impact strength of PP-H decreases as the temperature increases, the safety factors have been classified as a function of the temperature. Tables 6, 8, 10 and 12 include additional values based on a constant safety factor SF of 1,7 (for PP-H) a
