3、signating or ordering magnesium semi-finished products, the symbols and material numbers given in this standard must be used as specified in the designation examples of the dimensional standards. 3 Mechanical properties For the tensile strength, 0,2% yield limit and elongation at break the values gi
4、ven in table 1 apply. The requirements for the condition chosen are deemed to be met even if individual values of tensile strength and 0.2% yield limit extend into the next higher strength grade, provided the minimum elongation at break is achieved. In table 1 the values of Brinell hardness are give
5、n as approximate values. 10、roperties For testing the mechanical properties the test methods specified in DIN 50 125, DIN 50 140, DIN 50 145 and DIN 50351 apply.
