This standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 198 “Printing and paper machinery Safety” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German body involved in its prep

6、aration was the Normenausschuss Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering Standards Committee), Working Committee NA 060-23-01 AA Druck- und Papiermaschinen of Section Druck- und Papiermaschinen. Representatives of manufacturers of paper making and finishing machines, and of the employers liability insur

7、ance association for papermakers contributed to this standard. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the new “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to paper making and finishing machines that are either first placed on th

8、e market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of the directive. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this sta

9、ndard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). The European Standards referred to in this document have been published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 1

DIN EN 1034-7:2010-06 EN 1034-7:2005+A1:2009 (E) 4 Introduction This European Standard is a C type standard as stated in EN ISO 12100-1. The extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and hazard results are co

27、vered is indicated in the scope of this standard. For machines which have been designed and built in accordance with the stipulations of this C type standard, the following applies: where C type standard stipulations deviate from respective stipulations in A or B type standards, the stipulations mad

28、e in this C type standard take precedence over stipulations in the other standards. 1 Scope This European Standard applies to chests used in paper making and shall be applied together with !EN 1034-1:2000+A1:2010“. It deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and hazard events relevan

29、t to chests when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer (see clause 4). This European Standard does not apply to tanks for chemicals, storage tanks for starch and other additives used in paper making or basins or vessels for waste water resulting from the pap

30、er making process. 41、uspension of fibre, additives and inks for the production of paper and board 4 List of significant hazards This clause contains all the significant hazards, as far as they are dealt with in this European Standard, which are identified by risk assessment in accordance with EN 1050 as significant for

42、this type of machinery and which require action to eliminate or reduce the risk. In addition, the machinery shall be designed according to the principles

49、 of EN ISO 12100 for hazards relevant but not significant which are not dealt with by this European Standard. 5.2 Power transmission elements The power transmission elements between drive and agitator that are located outside the chest shall be safeguarded by a fixed enclosure in accordance with 3.2.1 of EN 953:1997 or 5.2 of !EN 1034-1:2000+A1:2010“.
