5、 This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 153 “Machinery intended for use with foodstuffs and feed” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering Standards Committee), Working Com

6、mittee NA 060-18-02 AA Fleischverarbeitungs-maschinen of Section Nahrungsmittelmaschinen. Stakeholders were involved in the development of the standard. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the new “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC,

7、 and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of that directive. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a

8、“harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity“). The European Standards referred to in Clause 2 and in the Bibliography of the EN have been published as the corresponding DIN EN

9、 or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 12267:2004-12 as follows: a) the standard has been brought in line with the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC; b) Annex ZA (informative) “Relationship between this European Standard and the Essential Require

The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and ha

27、zardous events are covered are indicated in the scope of this document. When provisions of this type C standard are different from those which are stated in type A or B standards, the provisions of this type C standard take precedence over the provisions of the other standards, for machines that hav

28、e been designed and built according to the provisions of this type C standard.“ DIN EN 12267:2011-02 EN 12267:2003+A1:2010 (E) 5 1 Scope This European Standard specifies requirements for the design and manufacturing of circular saw machines (see Figures 1 and 2). The machines covered by this Europea

29、n Standard are used to cut bone and meat. The circular saw machines covered by this European Standard do not include circular saw machines for processing of wood and similar materials and the requirements of EN 1870-1 do not apply. Circular saw machines for domestic use are not included in this Euro

30、pean Standard. This European Standard applies only to machines which are manufactured after the date of issue of this European Standard. This European Standard covers the following types of machines: Circular saw machines with a feed table and a fixed product pusher The distance “A“ from the floor t

31、o the top surface of the feed table is from 800 mm to 1050 mm. The saw blade diameter is between 350 mm and 400 mm (see Figure 1). Circular saw machines installed in a cutting line (e.g. conveyor belt or roller conveyor), e.g. with a protective component which can be lifted on the feed and discharge

32、 side. The saw blade diameter is between 350 mm and 400 mm (see Figure 2). 34、ne base, a fixed, foldable feed table, a product pusher, a protective hood which can be lifted, a saw blade, a drive and electrical components, depending on machine type. Circular saw machines with a machine base can be wheel-mounted (see Figure 1). !deleted text“ !This European Standard deals with

35、all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to circular saw machines, when they are used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (see Clause 4). This European Standard deals with the hazards which can arise during commissi

36、oning, operation, cleaning, use, maintenance and decommissioning of the machine.“ On floor-type circular saw machines (see Figure 3) the product to be cut is placed by hand onto the feed table and pushed against the cutting zone of the saw blade by means of the product pusher and sawed. On circular

37、saw machines which are installed in a cutting line (see Figure 4) the product to be cut is pushed by hand via the conveyor belt or roller conveyor against the cutting zone of the saw blade and sawed.
