This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to fa
7、cilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of that directive. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume compliance with the requirements of the Machinery
8、 Directive (“presumption of conformity”). This product standard correlates closely with the European Standards EN 13001-1, EN 13001-2 and prEN 13001-3-1 which apply to all types of cranes. This European Standard is a type
39、C standard as stated in EN ISO 12100. When provisions of this type C standard are different from those which are stated in type A or B standards, the provisions of this type C standard take precedence over the provisions of the other standards, for machines that have been designed and built accordin
40、g to the provisions of this type C standard. The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards are covered are indicated in the scope of this European Standard. DIN EN 12999:2013-02 EN 12999:2011 + A1:2012 (E) 7 1 Scope This European Standard specifies minimum requirements for design, calculat
41、ion, examinations and tests of hydraulic powered loader cranes and their mountings on vehicles or static foundations. This European Standard does not apply to loader cranes used on board ships or floating structures or to articulated boom system cranes which are designed as total integral parts of s
42、pecial equipment such as forwarders. The hazards covered by this standard are identified in Clause 4. This European Standard does not cover hazards related to the lifting of persons.
