4、 DIN EN 14985:2007-08 may be used in parallel until 1 August 2012. National foreword This standard includes safety requirements for slewing jib cranes. This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 147 “Cranes Safety”, Working Group WG 13 “Slewing jib cranes” formerly CEN/TC 147/WG P

The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering Standards Committee), Working Committee NA 060-22-10 AA Krane of Section Frdertechnik. Representatives of manufacturers and users of slewing jib

This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the new “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on t

Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this s

This product standard correlates closely with the European Standards EN 13001-1, EN 13001-2 and CEN/TS 13001-3-2 which apply to all types of cranes, and with FEM 1.001:1998, Berechnungsgrund

It should be noted that the term “crane” as in this standard includes all machines for cyclic lifting, or cyclic lifting and handling, of loads suspended on hooks or other load lifting attachments. This means that this standard applies to a

The European Standards referred to in Clause 2 of the EN have been published as the corresponding DIN EN or DIN EN ISO Standards with the same number. For the International Standards referred to in this standard which have not been pu

This European Standard
41、is a type C standard as stated in EN ISO 12100:2010. The machinery concerned and the extent to which hazards, hazardous situations and hazardous events are covered are indicated in the scope of this European Standard. When provisions of this type C standard are different from those which are stated
42、in type A or B standards, the provisions of this type C standard take precedence over the provisions of the other standards, for machines that have been designed and built according to the provisions of this type C standard.
