19、irleads on inland navigation vessels. 23、ces ISO 2768- accuracy grade m shall apply. Surface data shall be according to EN ISO 1302. Fairleads shall have no sharp edges or burr. Edges shall be rounded and have a radius R of at least 2 mm. Details not given need not comply with the illustration given here; compliance is only required for th
24、e dimensions and specifications given in clauses 4 to 7. 26、 Material All materials are permitted that meet the strength requirements specified in 4.2 except grey cast iron. Plastics shall be UV-resistant. 4.4 Corrosion protection Components susceptible to corrosion shall be permanently protected. 4.5 Shaft bearing The materials of the bearing shells shall b
27、e compatible with each other. The shaft bearings shall either be maintenance-free or capable of being lubricated. 4.6 Fixing holes In the case of rollers of nominal size 3 to 8, fixing holes shall be provided at the top of two ribs located opposite each other for connecting shackles. 5 Test methods
28、5.1 General The strength of the components can be proven by calculation or by testing. 5.2 Testing For the test, a rope is laid in a U-shape around the fairlead with the rope ends horizontal, i.e. perpendicular to the shaft. The tensile load of 1,25 times the minimum breaking load according to prEN
29、15272-1 shall be applied to both ends of the basic rope for 60 s. The load is applied 50 times. None of the fairlead components shall have undergone any permanent deformation and all of them shall be fully functional.
