This document is the National Annex to DIN EN 1993-1-11:2010-12, Eurocode 3: Design of steel structures Part 1-11: Design of structures with te

8、nsion components. European Standard EN 1993-1-11 allows national safety parameters, referred to as Nationally Determined Parameters (NDPs), to be specified for a number of points. The NDPs cover alternative verification methods, the provision of individual values and the selection of classes from de

9、signated classification systems. The relevant parts of the text are identified in the European Standard by references to the possibility of national choice and are listed in Clause NA.2.1. This National Annex also includes non-contradictory complementary information (NCI) to facilitate the applicati

10、on of DIN EN 1993-1-11:2010-12. This National Annex is an integral part of DIN EN 1993-1-11:2010-12. DIN EN 1993-1-11:2010-12 and this National Annex, DIN EN 1993-1-11/NA:2010-12, together with DIN EN 1993-1-1, DIN EN 1993-1-1/NA; DIN EN 1993-1-3, DIN EN 1993-1-3/NA, DIN EN 1993-1-5, DIN EN 1993-1-5

11、/NA, DIN EN 1993-1-8, DIN EN 1993-1-8/NA, DIN EN 1993-1-9, DIN EN 1993-1-9/NA, DIN EN 1993-1-10, and DIN EN 1993-1-10/NA supersede DIN 18800-1:2008-11, and together with DIN EN 1993-1-1 and DIN EN 1993-1-1/NA supersede DIN 18801:1993-09 Amendments This document differs from DIN 18800-1:2008-11 and D

14、provisions relating to design rules for structures with tension components made of steel, which, due to their connections with the structure, are adjustable and replaceable. These specifications are to be taken into consideration when applying DIN EN 1993-1-9:2010-12 in Germany. This National Annex

15、is only valid in conjunction with DIN EN 1993-1-11:2010-12. NA.2 National provisions for the application of DIN EN 1993-1-11:2010-12 NA.2.1 General DIN EN 1993-1-11:2010-12 refers to the option of choosing Nationally Determined Parameters (NDPs) at the following places in the text. 2.3.6(1) 2.3.6(2)

17、1 5.3(2) 9.2 A.1(3) C.4 DIN EN 1993-1-11/NA:2010-12 4 NA 2.2 National provisions In the following, the clauses are numbered as in DIN EN 1993-1-11:2010-12. NCI re 1.1(2) Cables for bridges As set out in the National Annex to EN 1993-2, only fully locked coil ropes or cables that have been granted an

18、 agrment shall be used for bridges. Use of the specifications given in the present National Annex is permitted subject to the requirements specified in ZTV-ING, section 4, Clauses 4 and 5 being met. NOTE (Translators note. 20、CI re 2.1 Pedestrian and cyclist bridges shall normally be treated as buildings. NDP re 2.3.6(1) Note Buildings In the analysis, replacement of tension members need normally not be considered. Road and railway bridges For bridges, replacement of at least one cable shall be considered as a transient

21、design situation, any reduction of imposed loads or partial factors being subject to the clients consent on a case-by-case basis. Cables that cannot be replaced without undue expense (e.g. main cable of a suspension bridge) shall be adequately protected against being damaged. NDP re 2.3.6(2) Note 1:

22、 Buildings Sudden failure of tension members need not normally be considered. 28、Design of tension members for use with structures outside the scope of EN 1993 As a rule, tension members for use with concrete, steel and concrete composite, timber and hybrid structures may be designed as specified in DIN EN 1993-1-11, giving due consideration in the analysis in particular to the

29、time-dependent (e.g. creep, shrinkage) and load-dependent (e.g. cracking) material characteristics. Where necessary, a conservative estimate is to be made of the extremes of stiffness. NDP re 5.3(2) Note: Information on how to apply the specifications of EN 1993-1-11 on structures outside the scope

30、of EN 1993 is provided in this National Annex. NDP re 6.2(2) Note 4: Buildings The partial factor Rshall be equal to unity in all cases. Road and railway bridges Changes of angle due to rope vibrations shall be minimized by structural means, taking Ras equal to unity in the ultimate limit states ana

Road and railway bridges The stress limits to be considered are as follows. a) construction phase: 1) fully locked coil ropes or cables: Stresses shall be limited in the construction phase by fconst = 0,45 uk; 2) parallel strand bundles: T

33、he assessment of stress limits for short-term construction phases shall be made taking fconst= 0,55 ukand disregarding any bending effects. DIN EN 1993-1-11/NA:2010-12 7 b) service: Analysis of stress limits under service conditions shall be made taking fSLS= 0,45 ukand disregarding any bending effe

34、cts. NCI re 9.2 Fatigue assessment of bridge cables Cables for use on road and railway bridges are to be categorized into class 5 as in DIN EN 1993-1-11:2010-12, Table 2.1. In the analysis, the vibration of cables is to be reduced so as to minimize its effect on fatigue. The following shall be consi

35、dered: a) Fully locked coil ropes or cables As a rule, structural measures are to be taken to minimize flexural stress at rope/cable ends. In the assessment, detail category c= 112 N/mm2shall be assumed. b) Parallel strand bundles: The assessment of parallel strand bundles is to be made disregarding

36、 any flexural stress and using detail category c= 167 N/mm2. Flexural stress is to be considered, however, using detail category c= 194 N/mm2, if the cable angle at terminations due to vibrations changes by more than 0,3. NCI re Annex A.1 (3) The following shall be supplemented: group B: spiral stra

37、nd ropes, fully locked spiral ropes, round strand ropes.
