18、or reasons of durability the cladding should have a thickness of at least 4% of the overall thickness of the material on each side. If the thickness of the cladding exceeds 5% this fact should be considered in the structural calculations, i.e. only the core thickness of the composite sheet should be taken in account. For these reasons the minimum cladding thickness of 4% and the minimum core thickness should be specified in the execution specification in order that the constructor can procure the corresponding constituent products with inspection certificate 3.1.
