11、ng machinery Amendment of the European Machinery Directive has made it necessary to review the previously valid standard, EN ISO 9902-2:2001, in terms of the essential requirements of the new European Machinery Directive, 2006/42/EC. This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requir
12、ements set out in Annex I of the “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, effective from 29 December 2009, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissioned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements
13、 of that directive.
