The overall length of the club shall measure 22 2 1/2 inches; the striking surface shall have a 1/4 inch radius rounded end with a diameter of 1-5/16 2 1/4 inches for 4-1/2 2 1/4 inches and then constantly tape
8、ring down to 12 1/4 inch (for approximately 11 inches); on a 3/8 inch radius, the club returns to a 1-5/16 2 1/4 inch diameter for 1/4 inch, then a 1 + 1/4 inch diameter for 3/16 inch for the thong groove and back toa 1-5/16 2 1/4 inch diameter for 1/4 inch; the handle of the club should be approxim
9、ately 6 inches in length and 1-1/4 inches in diameter with a non-slip surface texture. The leather thong shall measure.a minimum of 30 inches and a maximum of 32 inches. Workmanship. After completion, the finished club shall be thoroughly cleaned, and all surfaces shall be smooth and free of machine
10、 gouges. Product Demonstration Model. When required, offerers shall submit samples of their intended production. The Product Demonstration Model will consist of units independently developed. Product Demonstration Models will be analyzed and evaluated by.the government. Evaluation criteria and basis
11、 for award are contained in the solicitation. Product Demonstration Models will be retained by the government. One (1) Product Demonstration Model approved by DPSC under the resultant contract will serve as a manufacturing standard for the corresponding production items delivered under this contract
12、 Offerers are advised that the Product Demonstration Model does not relieve the successful offerer of his responsibility to perform in accordance with the Commercial Item Description specified above. Responsibility for Inspection. The supplier is responsible for assuring the product conforms to the
13、 requirements. Club lots will be inspected to determine conformance with the Commercial Item Description and the successful offerers technical proposal as negotiated. Acceptability of club lots will be determined by the use of “Sampling Procedures and Tables for Inspection by Attributes“, ANSI/ASQC
14、21.4, published by the American Society for Quality Control. Sampling procedures will be designated by the Government at the time of award. The sample unit is one club. The club shall be examined for the following defects: measurement of item not as specified; any knots, shake, splits, check, wane, decay, larval channels and holes; any surface
16、not sanded smooth and having machine marks, chipped or torn grain, and spur; any brush marks, orange peel, runs, wrinkles, drops, streaks, blushing; any area of thin or no film; wet or tacky finish; any trace of grit or coarse particles; glossfinish not uniform; measurement of thong not as specified
17、 pieced or spliced; any cut, hole, tear, or crack; any boney, stiff, loose or pipey areas; any soft spot; any discdloration or mildew; not centered and tied around the finished club in the thong groove; ends of the thong tied or knotted together. Packaqinq, Packinq, Markinq, and Palletization Packa
18、ging, packing, marking and palletization shall be in accordance with ASTM-D 3951, Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging, as specified for shipments to the Department of Defense, including Section 7. Note: Each shipping container shall contain only one National Stock Number (NSN). Unitized loads
19、 placing boxes on pallets, shall be used whenever total quantity for shipment to one destination exceeds 250 pounds (excluding the pallet) or 20 cubic feet. Pallets shall have a length of 40 inches and a width of 48 inches. including the pallet, shall not exceed 54 inches in height, 43 inches in le
20、ngth and 52 inches in width. The containers shall be bonded onto wing type commercial4-way Pallet loads, entry pallets. _ Note: All palletized loads shall contain only one NSN, to the maximum extent possible. When there is less than a pallet load per NSN, pallets may have containers not of the same
21、NSN, but the pallet shall be clearly marked “mixed“ and each applicable NSN shall be listed together with its total quantity.
