SCOPE. 1.1 ScoDe. This commercial item desc
3、ription covers the requirements for a knitted, cotton blended, fleeced sweat pants for use by personnel of Government agencies. 2. CLASSIFICATION. 5、ants shall have a ribbed knit or elastic waist and drawcord. The waist shall have a drawcord. The sweat pants shall have elastic leg bottoms, and the seams shall be coverstitched. 3.2 Material. 3.2.1 Basic material. The basic material shall be a blend of cotton and polyester, having a minimum of 50
6、percent cotton and the remainder polyester. The material shall be a jersey knit with fleece backing, weighing a minimum 6.75 ounces per square yard when tested in accordance with ASTM D-3776, Option C. The dyed, knitted cloth shall have a minimum rating of 4 when.tested for colorfastness to launderi
7、ng (after 3 wash and dry cycles) in accordance with AATCC 61-Test 3A. The knitted cloth shall have a minimum rating of 4 when tested for colorfastness to perspiration in accordance with AATCC 15. The test for colorfastness to alkaline solution shall apply. The cloth shall meet the Flammable Fabrics
8、Act as required by law. No flame-retardant finish shall be permitted. 3.2.1.1 Shade matching. The color and appearance of the cloth shall match the standard sample when viewed under filtered tungsten lamps that approximate artificial daylight and that have a correlated color temperature of 7500 5 20
9、0K, with illumination of 1 O0 5 20 foot candles and shall be a good match to the standard sample under incandescent lamplight at 2300 2 200K. 3.2.2 Knit trim. The 1x1 inch rib knit trim for the waistband, shall be approximately 4-112 inches wide and of double thickness. The color shall be closely ma
10、tched to the appropriate basic cloth color. The same tests used for testing the color fastness of the basic cloth shall apply. 3.2.3 Elastic. The optional waist elastic shall be of a sufficient width to be enclosed in the 1-1/2 inch wide waist and appropriate for the purpose intended. The elastic fo
11、r the leg bottoms shall be a sufficient width to be enclosed in a 1 inch wide bottom hem. 3.2.4 m. The waist tie cord shall be tubular, braided or knitted, and appropriate for the purpose intended. The ends of the cord shall be knotted. The color of the cord shall be bleached white. 3.2.3 Thread. Th

Each sweat pant shall have a commercial-type identifi
14、cation and size label attached to the center back below or caught into the waistband seam, on the inside. The label shall contain laundering instructions (according to the manufacturers recommendations). 3.4 Labeltag. Each item shall be individually bar-coded with a paper tag for personal clothing i
15、tems. The paper tag shall be standard bleached sulfate having a basis weight of 100 pounds. The paper used for the tags shall have a smooth finish to accept thermal transfer and direct printing. The tags shall have a hole and shall be attached to each item by a fastener, clearly legible and readable
16、 by a scanner. The bar coding element shall be a 13 digit national stock number (NSN). The bar code type shall be a medium to high code density and shall be located so that it is completely visible on the item when it is folded and/or packaged as specified and so that it causes no damage to the item

To the extent of any inconsistencies between the written commercial item description and the figure, the written commercial item description shall govern. 3.6 Measurements.
