SCOPE 1.1 Scotle. This com
3、mercial item description covers the requirements for a cotton twill cloth intended for use in the lining for boots and shoes. 2. CLASSIFICATION. The cloth shall be furnished in the following classes: Class 1 - Class 2 - Natural or bleached Natural or bleached, mildew-resistant treated 3. SALIENT CHA
4、RACTERISTICS 3.1 DescriDtion. The cloth shall be manufactured from cotton which has been carded, drawn, and spun into a single yam. The weave shall be a three up and one down (3/1) right hand twill. The cloth shall have a starch and protein content (including chloroform-soluble and water-soluble mat
5、erial). The Class 2 cloth shall be mildew-resistant treated with copper-8-quinoliolate so as to deposit a copper content of metallic copper from copper-8-quinoliolate when tested in accordance with the requirements listed in Table I. The color of the cloth shall be natural or bleached. The color of
6、the Class 2 cloth shall be a shade imparted to the cloth as a result of the mildew resistant treatment. The width shall be as specified in the contract or purchase order. The cloth shall be finished so it will not unravel when cut. 3.2 Phvsical reauirements. The finished cloth shall conform to the r
