SCOPE. This comme
2、rcial item description (CID) covers a silicone rubber nonmetallic channel, shape (see Figure 1). 2. CLASSIFICATION. The silicone rubber shall be of the following classes and grades as specified. The designated grade number corresponds to the nominal Shore Durometer A hardness value. Class 2A High te
3、mperature resistant Grade 60 Class 2B High temperature resistant and low compression set Grade 60 3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS. 3.1 Dimensional and physical requirements. Dimensional and physical requirements shall conform to Figure 1 and Table I. Dimensional tolerances shall conform to the applicable

8、st methods specified in Table I of CID A-A-59588. 3.3 Workmanship. The end product shall be clean, smooth finished, and free from dirt, flash or rough edges. 4. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable, in accordance w
9、ith paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). 5. PRODUCT CONFORMANCE. 5.1 Product conformance. The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this commercial item description, conform to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance
10、 practices, and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial market. The government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance. 6. PACKAGING. Preservation, packing, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order. 7. NOTES. 7.1 Part identification number (PIN): the
