1、A-A-59356October 28, 1998COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTIONNET MULTI-PURPOSEThe General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description asa replacement for MIL-N-43181 for all federal agencies.1. SCOPE. This commercial item description covers the requirement for one type
2、ofmultipurpose net (complete w/ suspension line cords) intended to meet multiple requirements ofSpecial Warfare units. It is used as a hammock, camouflage net, carrier for loads, a litter, or asnet or seine for subsistence fishing and catching game.2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS. The netting shall be Ca
3、mouflage Green 483 (CG-483)mesh type, doubled faced and fully reversible. The finished net shall be 108 inches min. length,and meet the weight requirements in accordance with TABLE-I. The lengthwise meshes per footshall be 10 (+1) mesh. The width of the finish net inside selvages shall contain 100 (
4、+2) meshrepeats. The width of each selvage of the finished net shall be 1/4 inch minimum and 3/8 inchmaximum. The mesh size in the finished and relaxed state, shall measure 9/16 by 9/16 inch (insidemeasurements +1/16). Two 14 feet long (+ 3 inches), diamond braided cord of polyester,polyamide or fib
5、er of comparable propertys shall be packaged with the net.2.1 Material. The yarn shall be either 260 denier (+5.0) percent, 3 ply or 840 denier (+5.0)percent, single yarn. The material shall be stabilize by heat setting or any commercial methodavailable. The yarn shall be a bright, high tenacity, mu
6、lti-filament nylon or a fiber withcomparable properties meeting the requirements of TABLE-I. The color of the net shall beCamouflage Green 483 (CG-483).
