SCOPE. The webbing covered by this document is intended for use in airdrop systems.The maximum payload sh

2、all be 2200 lbs.2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS. The webbing shall be one width , 2 inches in width (+/- 1/8), have athickness between .090 to .130 inches, and have a tensile strength of 4,700lbs. Minimum.3. Materials The webbing shall be made with 100% Polypropylene.3.2 Construction3.2.1 Construction of

3、 Webbing, Textile, Woven Polypropylene. The webbing shall meet all therequirements listed in paragraph 3.3. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS4.1 Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials. Recycled, recovered, orenvironmentally preferable materials should be used

9、 to the maximum extent possible provided that thematerial meets or exceeds the operational and maintenance requirements, and promotes economicallyadvantageous life cycle costs.5. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS5.1 Product conformance. The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this

10、 commercialitem description, and shall conform to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards and qualityassurance practices. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance.5.2 Visual examination. The webbing shall be examined for the defects listed below.Provided b

Any hole, cut, or tear; broken or missing yarn; smash; float, mispick, harness skip, or othermisweave; open or thin place, crack (warp or filling); knot or slub; loose, slack, or tight ya

12、rns; reed mark,wrong draw; abrasion mark, bruise, tender or weak spot; embedded crease or wrinkle; selvage cut, torn,folded, rolled, slack, or tight; filling bar, coarse filling, or mixed filling; spot, stain, streak, or dirty yarn;foreign matter; shade not as specified; finish not equal to or bette

13、r than standard; offshade or unevenshading throughout piece; mottled, cloudy, streaky, or barre; overall uncleanness or soiled; baggy, ridgy,wavy, or unevenly woven; width not within established tolerances; net length less than indicated on theticket; fiber identification marking omitted Each defect

14、 shall be marked with a 1-1/2 inch long string; thestring shall be inserted into the selvage opposite the defect.5.3 Acceptance criteria. 17、th ends drawn in singly. The number of warp endsshould be 76, all of 5000 denier polypropylene.
