SCOPE. This commercial item description (CID) covers charcoal u
2、sing as a principal fuel for preparing food or for outdoor cooking. 2. CLASSIFICATION. Charcoal shall be of the following types: Type I - Lump Type II - Briquette 3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS. 3.1 General requirements. Charcoal shall consist of the product made by charring hard or soft Wood. Charcoal
3、to be furnished shall be as specified (see 6.1) and shall conform to the physical characteristics as specified below and to the charcoal characteristics in Table 1 when tested in accordance with ASTM D1762.
