SCOPE. This Commercial Item Description (CID) covers t
2、he requirements for a kit that replaces the harnesses that are issued in the Army Mountaineering Kits (AMKs); the High Angle Mountaineering Kit (HAMK) (A-A-59869) and the Assault Climber Team Kit (ACTK) (A-A-59873). 2. CLASSIFICATION. The AMK Harness Replacement Kits will be furnished as two kits. 2

Individual item test standards shall be in accordance with their related International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation Standards, where applicable. 3.4 Materials. Individual item materials shall be in accordance with applic
8、able specifications (see Table I). 3.5 Workmanship. The Harness Replacement Kits shall conform to the quality of product established by this document. The occurrence of defects shall not exceed the contractors own quality assurance standards and the quality assurance standards defined in the technic
9、al data in the solicitation and/or contract. 3.6 Service life. The Harness Replacement Kits shall have no unexpected material or component failures during a continuous one-year cycle. 10、 year period. 3.7 Labels/barcoding/instruction slip. If applicable, all labeling, barcoding and instruction slip requirements shall be as specified in the solicitation or contract (see 7.2). 3.7.1 Labels. Each Army Mountaineering Kit, Harness Replacement Kit shall have identification label Class 5 c
11、onforming to Type VI of MIL-DTL-32075. The color of the label shall be white. 12、ied: a. The name or trademark of the manufacturer, importer or supplier b. The meaning of any marking on the product c. The use of the product d. How to choose other components for use in the system e. How to maintain and service the product f. The lifespan of the product or how to access it g. The
13、effects of chemical reagents and temperature on the product h. The effects of storing and aging i. Identification of the model, if more than one model is available 4. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable, in accord
14、ance with paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). 4.1 Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials. 16、alient characteristics of this Commercial Item Description, conform to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and be the same product offered for sale in the commercial marketplace. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformanc
