This drawing describes the requirements for metallized film (200 V dc) and metallized paper and polyester film impregnated with high-temperature mineral wax capacitors (400 V dc through 1,000 V dc). 1.2 Part or Identif

In the event of a conflict between the text of this document and the references cited herein, the text of this document takes precedence. Nothing in this document, however, supersedes applicable laws and regulations unless a

11、 specific exemption has been obtained. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Interface and physical dimensions. The interface and physical dimensions shall be as specified in MIL-PRF-39022 and herein (see figure 1 and table I). 3.1.1 Leads. See figure 1. 3.1.2 Case material. Nonmagnetic. 3.1.3 Tin Plated Finishes. 10

12、0 percent tin Plating is prohibited as a final finish or as an undercoat. Tin-Lead (Sn-Pb) finishes are acceptable provided that the minimum lead content is 3 percent. 16、permitted without license from IHS-,-,-3.1.4 Operating temperature range. The operating temperature range shall be -55C to +125C without voltage derating. 3.2 Electrical characteristics. The electrical characteristics shall be as follows. 3.2.1 Rated voltage. See table I. 3.2.2 Dielectric type. Meta

17、llized film or metallized paper and polyester film. 3.2.3 Capacitance (see table I). Capacitance shall be measured in accordance with MIL-PRF-39022. 3.2.4 Dissipation factor (+25C). Dissipation factor of 1.0 percent maximum, measured in accordance with MIL-PRF-39022. 3.2.5 Insulation resistance. Mea

18、sured in accordance with MIL-PRF-39022. 3.2.5.1 The minimum product of insulation resistance and capacitance shall be 2,000 megohm-microfarads at +25C. 3.2.5.2 In no case, shall the insulation resistance exceed 12,000 megohms. 3.2.5.3 Where the case is not a terminal, the insulation resistance betwe

19、en the case and either terminal shall be at least 10,000 megohms. 3.2.5.4 The minimum product of insulation resistance and capacitance shall be 10 megohm-microfarads for 200 V dc capacitors or 40 megohm-microfarads for 400, 600, and 1,000 V dc capacitors. 3.2.5.5 In no case, shall the insulation res

20、istance exceed 150 megohms for 200 V dc capacitors or 600 megohms for 400, 600, and 1,000 V dc capacitors. 3.2.5.6 Measurements shall be made after a 2 minute charge at rated voltage or 500 V dc, whichever is less. 3.2.6 Dielectric withstanding voltage. Dielectric withstanding voltage shall be 200 p

21、ercent of dc rated voltage for 60 seconds minimum measured in accordance with MIL-PRF-39022. 3.3 Solderability of terminals. In accordance with MIL-PRF-39022. 3.4 Vibration. Capacitors shall withstand the 2,000 Hz vibration test at 15 g in accordance with MIL-STD-202, method 204, test condition B, s

22、upplementary mounting is to be used. 3.5 Shock. In accordance with MIL-PRF-39022, and MIL-STD-202, method 213, test condition G. 3.6 Immersion. In accordance with MIL-PRF-39022. 3.7 Moisture resistance. In accordance with MIL-PRF-39022. 3.8 Life test. Capacitors shall withstand a test potential of 1

23、40 percent of rated voltage between terminals, or between terminals and case, if the case is a terminal, for a period of 250 hours at +125C. The life test voltage shall be applied and discharged through a resistor of one ohm per volt. 3.9 AC operation. Capacitors shall withstand an ac potential of 1

24、20 percent of ac voltage for a period of 250 hours. Rated ac voltages are shown on figures 2 through 7. In no case shall the sum of the dc and peak ac voltages applied to a capacitor exceed the rated dc voltage. 3.10 Seal test. 3.10.1 Gross leak. Method 112 of MIL-STD-202, condition B, or (for liqui

25、d-filled units only) 1 hour at applicable high test temperature with no evidence of leakage. 3.11 Terminal strength. In accordance with MIL-PRF-39022. 3.12 Resistance to solvents. 30、ed with the PIN as specified herein (see 1.2), the manufacturers name or Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, and date lot codes. 3.14 Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials. Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials should be used to the maximum ext

31、ent possible provided that the material meets or exceeds the operational and maintenance requirements, and promotes economically advantageous life cycle costs. 3.15 Certificate of compliance. A certificate of compliance shall be required from manufacturers requesting to be a suggested source of supp

32、ly. 3.16 Workmanship. The capacitor shall be uniform in quality and free from any defects that will affect life, serviceability, or appearance. 4. VERIFICATION 4.1 Conformance inspection. 4.1.1 Inspection of product for delivery. Inspection of product for delivery shall consist of the group A and gr

33、oup C inspections of MIL-PRF-39022. 4.1.2 Certification. The acquiring activity, at its discretion, may accept a certificate of compliance with group C inspection in lieu of performing group C inspection (see 6.2c). 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Packaging. For acquisition purposes, the packaging requirements sha

34、ll be as specified in the contract or order (see 6.2). When packaging of materiel is to be performed by DoD or in-house contractor personnel, these personnel need to contact the responsible packaging activity to ascertain packaging requirements. Packaging requirements are maintained by the Inventory

35、 Control Points packaging activities within the Military Service or Defense Agency, or within the military services system commands. Packaging data retrieval is available from the managing Military Departments or Defense Agencys automated packaging files, CD-ROM products, or by contacting the respon

Capacitors conforming to this drawing are intended for use when military specifications do not exist and qualified military devices that will perform the required function are not available for OEM application. This drawing is intended exclusively to prevent the proliferation of unn

38、ecessary duplicate specifications, drawings, and stock catalog listings. When a military specification exists and the product covered by this drawing has been qualified for listing, this drawing becomes obsolete and will not be used for new design. 6.2 Ordering data. The contract or purchase order s

39、hould specify the following: a. Complete PIN (see 1.2). b. Requirements for delivery of one copy of the conformance inspection data or certificate of compliance that parts have passed conformance inspection with each shipment of parts by the manufacturer. c. Whether the manufacturer performs the gro

40、up C inspection or provides certification of compliance with group C inspection. d. Requirements for notification of change of product to acquiring activity, as applicable. e.
