11、ns unless a specific exemption has been obtained. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Construction. The terminal board assembly shall consist of the subassemblies and parts shown in figure 1. The design and dimensions of the terminal block (base) subassembly, part MS25045-1, shall be in accordance with MS25045. The
12、 design and dimensions of the terminal cover subassembly, part MS25046-1, shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-32393. The materials used on the terminal block (base) subassembly, part MS25045-1, shall be in accordance with MS25045. The materials used on the terminal cover subassembly, part MS25046-1, shall be in accordance
14、with MIL-DTL-32393. The materials used on the two nuts, part MS3376-4, which attach to the terminal studs of part MS25045-1, shall be in accordance with MS3376. 3.3 Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials. Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials should be us
15、ed to the maximum extent possible, provided that the material meets or exceeds the operational and maintenance requirements, and promotes economically advantageous life cycle costs. 4. VERIFICATION 4.1 Classification of inspections. The inspection requirement specified herein is classified as confor
16、mance inspection (see 4.2). 4.2 Conformance inspection. Unless otherwise specified, all subassemblies and parts shall be subjected to 4.2.1 and 4.2.2. 4.2.1 Visual inspection. All subassemblies and parts shall be visually inspected for conformance with figure 1. Any subassembly or part found to not
17、conform with figure 1 shall constitute a failure. 4.2.2 Construction and material. All subassemblies and parts shall conform to the requirements of 3.1 and 3.2. Any subassembly or part found not to conform with 3.1 and 3.2, or found not to have a certificate of conformance, shall constitute a failur

For acquisition purposes, the packaging requirements shall be as specified in the contract or order (see 6.2). When packaging of materiel is to be performed by DoD or
20、 in-house contractor personnel, these personnel need to contact the responsible packaging activity to ascertain packaging requirements. Packaging requirements are maintained by the Inventory Control Points packaging activities within the Military Service or Defense Agency, or within the military ser
21、vices system commands. Packaging data retrieval is available from the managing Military Departments or Defense Agencys automated packaging files, CD-ROM products, or by contacting the responsible packaging activity. 6.
