The preferred and permissible marking is as follows: Preferred: Military PIN: M3970/1-XX-XXXX Manufacturer source code: ZZZZZ Permissible M3970/ 1-XX-XXXX ZZZZZ 3.13 Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable material
29、s. Recycled, recovered, or environmentally preferable materials should be used to the maximum extent possible provided that the material meets or exceeds the operational and maintenance requirements, and promotes economically advantageous life cycle costs. 3.14 Workmanship. Assemblies shall be manuf
30、actured in such a manner as to be uniform in quality and the assembly shall be free from tool marks, burrs, deep scratches, pits, corrosion, cracks, rough edges, chips, and other defects that will affect life, serviceability, or appearance. 4.
