Chain shall be passivated stainless steel in accordance with type II, class 3, trade number 8, as specified in RR-C-271. Chain shall be within one link of length specified. Cover mates with MS17344. Cover finish shall be
7、in accordance with MIL-DTL-22992. Chain shall move freely on protective cap after assembly. Full part number marking shall be in accordance with MIL-DTL-22992, and shall include the “JAN brand” (JAN or J) certification marking. 8、Size Qualification: Visual and mechanical examination. Magnetic permeability. Water immersion (with protective cover). Salt spray (corrosion). Tensile. Air leakage. Group A sampling plan: Lot and sample sizes shall be as specified in table I. Samples shall be randomly selected from the lot. If one o
9、r more defects are found, the lot shall be rescreened and defects removed. A new sample as specified in table I shall then be randomly selected.
