7、ng on non-significant surfaces in the ID shall be of sufficient thickness to ensure plating continuity and uniform utility and protection. This plating may consist of an underplate only. A silver underplate shall not be permitted. All other parts. All other parts shall be silver plated to a minimum

8、thickness of 0.0002 inches (0.005 mm) in accordance with ASTM B700. Materials: Ferrules: Nylon in accordance with ASTM D4066 or phenolic in accordance with ASTM D5948. Metal parts: Brass in accordance with ASTM B121/B121M, ASTM B36/B36M, ASTM B16/B16M and ASTM B124/B124M. Silver plated to a minimum

9、thickness of 200 microinches in accordance with ASTM B700 or nickel plated 200 microinches minimum in accordance with SAE-AMS-QQ-N-290.
