COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION TRAY, EDICiNE The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description in preference to Interim Federal Specification RR-T-00640. This specification covers a stainless steel , rectangular medicine tray suitable for use in military
2、medical treatment facilities. Sal lent characteristics: Shall be a rectangular tray, without a cover, and suitable for carrying catheter trays, thermometer technique equipment and medicines to a patients bedside. The tray shall be formed seamlessly from one piece of .O31 inch thick corrosion-resisti
3、ng steel, American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) 300 series, which shall not be reduced below 0.25 inch thick at any point. The tray shall have approximate dimensions of 13-1/2 inches long, 9-518 inches wide, and 518 inch deep. Upper lip shall be approximately 118 inch. Corner radius (at top of tr
4、ay) shall be approximately 1-114 inches maximum. The tray shall rest on all four bottom corners on a level surface without rocking or wobbling. The bottom may concave inward so that the highest point shall be approximately more than 1/16 inch above the surface upon which it rests. Tray surface shall
5、 have a unifrom 84 commercial finish or better and be readily cleanable. The tray shall be free of sharp edges, burrs, pits, dents, cracks, ripples, and deformi ties Workmanship. The medicine tray shall be free from defects which detract from its appearance or impair its serviceabi 1 i ty - Unit. Ea
