1、A-AZ51771 30 January 1987 COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION BRACE, KNEE DRESSING The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description. This commercial item description covers an adult, universal size knee dressing brace with adjustable straps and hook-and-pile clo

2、sures. Salient characteristics: The knee dressing brace shall have an overall length of approximately 19 inches (48 cm), and shai be capable of being adjusted for universal sizing for an adult knee. The brace shall be sized to fit thigh sizes from 10 inches (25 cm) through 28 inches (71 cm) and calf

3、 sizes from 10 inches (25 cm) through 20 inches (51 cm). The brace shall be fabricated of a machine washable approximately 3/8 inch (0.9 cm) thick foam securely attached to pressure sensitive pile materia. The brace shall have five or six, 2 inch (5 cm) wide, webbing type straps with hooks on the ba

4、ck to enable positioning of the straps any place on the dressing medially or laterally. Each strap shall be sewn to the brace at one end and attached by a slide buckle to a similar piece of 2 inch (5 cm) wide webbing with hooks on the back. The buckles shall be fabricated of a suitable corrosion - r

5、esisting steel, properly hardened and passivated. The brace shall be easily cinched down for proper immobilization of the knee and easily removed from the knee after use. The foam and pressure sensitive pile materia shall be free from cuts and other defects. Workmanship. The knee dressing brace shal

10、 as amended, and regulations promulgated thereunder. in addition, the offeror/contractor shall comply, and be responsible for compliance by its subcontractors/suppliers, with the requirements of all other applicable Federal, State, and local statutes, ordinances, and regulations.
