2、or storing laboratory solutions and corrosive liquids and as a shipping container. Salient characteristics: Shall be a wide mouth polyethylene or polypropylene bottle of square shape. Shall be of natural color. The bottles shall have a capacity of 32 ounces. of the bottle shall not extend above the
3、bottom level of the neck. The fill of the bottle shall be within +1/2, -0 ounce of the capacity specified. Shall have a wide mouth with continuous type conventionally used, thread finish. enough to readily permit filling and dispensing of the contents. Shall be cymetrical in shape and the walls shal
4、l be of uniform thickness. When placed on a plane moth surface the bottles shall be stable. The screw cap shall be threaded with a continuous type thr
5、ead. Shall have a molded-in seal ring which makes a close fit with the finish of the bottle forming an effective seal. With the screw cap applied, hand tight, there shall be no leakage. To provide for firm gripping for removing and tightening of the screw cap, the outside vertical surface of the scr
6、ew cap shall have ribs. The bottle shall be furnished with the screw cap in place and shall be clean, dry and ready for use. Workmanship. Inspection, as used herein, is defined as both examination (such as visual or auditory investigation without the use of special laboratocy aRliances or procedures) and testing (detemination by tech
