This commerical item description covers expendable pressure infusor
2、s suitable for use with intravenous bags of 500 mi and 1000 mi capacity. Salient characteristics: General. Shall be an expendable pressure infusor bag for use with invasive blood pressure monitoring and intravenous infusion procedures. Infusor shall be suitable for use in an operating room environme
3、nt. Style, design and dimensions. The infusor bag shall be in accordance with Figure 1. Material. Infusor shall be a polyurethane coated nylon bag with an attached white netting (mesh) pocket of polyester material to enclose a blood or medication bag of the capacity shown on Figure 1. Construction.
4、Netting shown on Figure 1 shall allow visualization of enclosed bag contents. The braided polyester strap shall be provided to suspend the infusor. The piston type pressure gauge shall be provided at the bottom of the bag with a pressure range of O to 400 mm of Hg for measuring the bladder air press
5、ure. The gauge shall be color-coded and numerically marked to indicate infusor air pressure. Pressure markings shall be at least three in number and shall be provided at O mm Hg, 150 mm Hg and 300 mrn Hg. The gauge shall be clearly visible from 360 degrees. fabricated of ABS plastic with an acetal p
6、iston. Gauge body shall be The bladder and inflation blub shall be connected with approximately 15 inches of vinyl tubing. The inflation bulb shall be fabricated of rubber material and shall be furnished with metal valves fabricated of corrosion-resisting material tio allow the bag to be inflated. T
7、h stopcock shall be used to lock and release the bladder pressure and shall be fabricated of a polycarbonate body, polyethylene stem and an ABS cap. to withstand an air pressure of 600 mm Hg without leakage or other damage. The strap shall withstand a force of 6 lbs. without breaking, fraying, pulli
8、ng free from the bag or other damage. Force shall be applied to the strap,away from and on the longitudinal axis of the bag. 18、 wili be considered on an equal basis with those manufactured using inch-pound units, providing they fall within the tolerances specified using conversion tables contained in the latest revision of Federal Standard No. 376, and all other requirements of this document are met.
