The numberof latitudinal frames and subframes in a zone for a givenscale can be computed by using the exact poleward andequatorward zone extents and the number of pixels per degreeof latitude

The number oflatitudinal frames is the difference (in degrees) betweenthe exact poleward zone extent and the exact equatorwardzone extent, multiplied by the number of pixels per degree,and divided by 1536, the number of pixel rows per frame.Multiplying the number of frame
