9、r the switch lens face meets the touch temperature (rise above ambient requirements) as defined in the Detail specification. 2.0 TEsTcomITIoMs 2.1 Individual switches sha be mounted on a 58 mm x 50 mm x 1.5 mm thick, unfinished aluminum paneL 2.2 Panel cutout and mounting hardware as identified in t
10、he Detail Specificaton shali be used. 2.3 The test shail be performed in still air which has a temperature of 25“ C +/- CO P 3.0 PROCEDURE 3.1 The lens face temperature shall be measured with iamp(s) energized, in the center or at the point specified in the Detail Specification, with the long axis o
11、f the switch horizontal. An optical infrared thermometer is a device suitable for making this surface temperature measurement. 3.2 The lens face temperature shall be measured at 5 +/-1 minute intervals until stable. 3.3 The temperature shall be considered stable when three consecutive readings indic
12、ate no change in temperature greater than lT. 3.4 The ambient temperature shall then be measured at a point sufficiently far from any heat source, including the units under test, to obtain a representative temperature value for the air reaching the test unit by convection. 3.5 The touch temperature
