2、gistration form (see clause 3) to the P-10;4) the approval by the P-10, or delegated subcommittee;5) agreement from the supplier(s) to be registered that the P-10 will be notified of all supplier productregistrations going end-of-life (EOL) (see clause 4); the EOL date when the last product may beor
3、dered shall be included with the suppliers EOL notification to the P-10.3 Sponsor requirementsThe following are the sponsors documentation responsibilities, which are submitted to the P-10:1) a written request for IPD registration with the following:- names of the sponsors;- company names of the spo
4、nsors;- phone numbers of the sponsors;- email address of the sponsors;2) a functional sample of the IPD to be registered;3) a paper and electronic copy of the sponsors IPD registration in the format outlined in clause 5.NOTEThe EIA IPD registration number is not required for the initial registration
5、 request.4 Supplier responsibilities:The following are the supplier responsibilities, above and beyond the sponsor responsibilities:The supplier shall notify the P-10 of any significant product changes that would affect the accuracy of thecurrent supplier registration, within 20 business days of the
6、 suppliers product change. Significant changesinclude changes to the form, fit or function of the device, or any changes where any one of the supplierscurrent customers require functional application testing before the product change can be implemented.The supplier shall notify the P-10 of any regis
7、tered product going EOL within 20 business days of the datethe suppliers EOL notification to its customers. The date when the last product may be ordered shall beIPD registrationEIA-850Page 2included with the suppliers EOL notification to P-10. The EOL notification shall be in accordance withpublica
8、tion JESD-48.5 P-10 responsibilities:The following are the P-10 IPD responsibilities:1) Receive and requests for product registrations and respond in writing to the sponsors within 20business days of receipt of the request, with the following at a minimum:a) acknowledgement of the receipt of the req
9、uest;b) a statement indicating at either all submission requirements have been met, or not been met; if notall submission requirements have been met, the P-10 reviewer shall outline the requirements thathave not been met and are required before any formal consideration can be made;c) if all submissi
10、on requirements have been satisfied, the P10 reviewer shall provide the estimateddate (and location if known) of the formal P-10 review of the sponsors request, where the request willincluded on the committee meeting agenda for review and balloting;d) review the sponsors request in committee and pro
11、vide enough formal discussion of the request sothat balloting is meaningful;e) upon completion of the P10 discussion on the sponsors request, the P-10 Chairperson shallmotion for balloting of the request; the balloting process shall follow EIA operational guidelines;f) if the balloting is not succes
12、sful, the P10 chairman shall contact the sponsors in writing with theresults of the balloting and the balloting comments.The chairman shall request the sponsors position as to whether or not they wish to continue theregistration process. If the sponsors decline, or fail to respond by the requested d
13、ate the registrationrequest shall be considered closed.If the sponsors wish to continue to pursue their IPD registration, the P-10 chairman shall provide aninvitation for the sponsor to address the balloting concerns at the next P10 engineering meeting. Ofcourse, the sponsors are free to address the
14、 balloting concerns directly with the balloters as soon asthey receive the details of their unsuccessful ballot.After P-10 engineering discussion of the failed registration ballot with the sponsors, the P-10Chairperson shall motion for the re-balloting of the sponsors request. If the motion is suppo
15、rted, thesponsors request shall be reballoted and shall include the previous ballot comments and sponsorsformal written responses to the previous ballots concerns. If the motion is not supported, the failmotion shall be noted in the meeting minutes and a formal written memo from the P-10 Chairperson
16、shall be sent to the sponsors outlining the reason for the committees disapproval and noting theformal close of this registration request.g) if the balloting request is successful, the sponsors shall be notified in writing by the P-10Chairperson within 20 business days of ballot approval with the ne
17、w EIA IPD registration number andthe estimated EIA publication date.2) The P-10 shall review all supplier product change notifications (sent by suppliers), which affect theaccuracy of the current product registrations, and take the appropriate action to do one of the following:a) make no changes to
18、the current registration(s);IPD registrationEIA-850Page 3b) update the affected supplier registrations with EOL information, which results from the affects ofsignificant product changes where reconciliations with the alternate suppliers specifications were notsuccessful; a suppliers product which ca
19、n no longer be provided to a current product registration forwhich the supplier has been registered and changes can not be made due to irreconcilabledifferences with the alternate suppliers shall be considered EOL;c) add a new supplier registration for the changed product, with the suppliers concurr
20、ence, usuallyas a result of item B.3) The P-10 shall update product registrations with supplier EOL date information, upon writtennotification from a registered supplier. It is preferred that the registered suppliers EOL date beupdated to the product registration immediately.All supplier EOL notific
21、ations shall be given the highest priority for review and balloting (update to thecurrent affected registration documents) at the next P-10 meeting.6 IPD product registration document requirements and format:All product registrations shall contain the following information of the format in clause 6:
22、1) ECA IPD registration number (assigned by the P-10 upon successful balloting of the sponsorsregistration);2) revision (assigned by the P-10 as a numerical sequential number in the format of “IPD-xxxx”, uponsuccessful balloting of the sponsors registration, where “xxxx” is a numerical sequential nu
23、mber);3) revision date (assigned/updated by the P-10 upon successful balloting of a creation/update/changeto the device registration;4) functional description shall describe the IPDs primary function, the initial application(s) for whichthis device is intended to be used and a description of the bas
24、ic functions included with in the device;5) schematic diagram with pin out shall illustrate the equivalent electrical circuit and all electricaldevice connections;6) specification shall include all critical electrical, timing and temperature of operation/storagecharacteristics of this device;7) pack
25、age information shall include a reference to either a JEDEC “Publication 95” physical outlineor an EIA physical outline, wherever possible; it is preferred that a “Standard” outline be selectedfrom one of these documents if it is available. Where a “Standard” outline is not available from eitherof t
26、hese document organizations, a reference to a “Registered” outline from these documents shallused; where standard physical outlines or registered outlines are not available, the physical outlineinformation shall be included within the IPD registration document;8) companies offering device shall incl
27、ude the following information in tabular form:(a) registration date (Provided by P-10 committee upon successfulballot);(b) company name (e.g. supplier name);(c) package reference one per row in the table (see clause 6 example); each package must be listedseparately to allow for EOL package notificat
