7、ation for cathode-ray tube phosphors, In 1943, K. L. The ratio of distances between two colors and an intermediate third point is no longer proportional to the intensities of the first two colors

10、required to produce the third. Straight lines on the 1931 CIE diagram remain straight lines on the 1976 CIE-UCS diagram. Equal distances on the diagram represent ap- proximately equal perceived color differences. The 1976 CIE-UCS diagram is now .the official recommended practice of CIE. The EIA JT-%

11、O Committee e on Cathode-Ray Display Devices supports this sys- tem and will publish future data in u, v coordi- nates.
