Thecoatinginthisstandardcan
25、beappliedtolongitudinallyorspirallyweldedandtoseamlesssteeltubesand fittingsusedfortheconstructionofpipelinesforconveyingliquidsorgases. Inaccordancewiththeelongationproperties,ifthecomponenthastobecoldbentthecoatingshallbeappliedafter bendingunlessotherwiseapprovedbythepurchaser. Thecoatingshallcon
26、sistnormallyofonelayerofliquidproduct,appliedbybrushorbyanairlessspraytechnique. Otherapplicationmethodscanberecommendedbytheproductmanufacturer,inaccordancewiththekindof product(spatula,injection,spreading,etc.). Thiscoatingcanbeusedfortheprotectionofburiedorsubmergedsteeltubesforserviceatthefollow

35、etres( W m). 4 Coatingmaterials 4.1General Themulticomponentliquidcoatingisgenerallycomposedofapolyolandanisocyanate. Thepolyolandisocyanateshouldhavedifferentcoloursallowingtheverificationofthecorrectmixingandchecking theuniformityofthecolourofthemixedproduct. Thecoatingisconsideredcuredwhenithasat
36、tainedthehardnessrecommendedbytheproductmanufacturer(see Table1). Thisstandardcallsfortheuseofsubstancesand/orproceduresthatmaybeinjurioustohealthifadequate precautionsarenottaken.Itrefersonlytotechnicalsuitabilityandinnowayabsolvestheuserfromstatutory obligationsrelatingtohealthandsafetyatanyrange.
