32、rackbridgingpropertiesonthebasisoftherespectivetestconditions.AnnexCdescribesexamplesof suitabletestprocedureswhichmeetthefurtherrequirementsspecifiedformethodsAandB. 5Apparatus Thetestapparatusforchangingandcontrollingthecrackwidthatspecifiedtemperaturesshallensurethatthe movementofthecracksliesbet
33、weengivenlimits,andthatshearing(horizontalandverticalmovement)ofthe cracksidesisavoidedduringthedetermination. Itshallbeprovidedwithadeviceformaintainingthetemperatureatwhichthedeterminationofthecrack bridgingpropertiesistobecarriedout.Thetoleranceofthetesttemperatureshallbe2K. Devicesformeasuringth
34、ecrackwidth,e.g.extensionmeasuringstriporinductivepathfinder,accurateto 5m,shallbeprovided.Thesemeasuringdevicesshallbesuitabletomonitorthechangeofthecrackwidth duringthetest(8.3.2and8.3.3). 6Sampling Takearepresentativesampleoftheproducttobetested(orofeachproductinthecaseofamulticoat system),asdesc

Examineandprepareeachsamplefortesting,asdescribedinENISO1513.EN10627:2004(E) 8 7 Testpieces 7.1 Substrate Thesubstrateshallconsistofeither: concretecomplyingwiththerequirementsofEN1766,usingatestmortarMC(0,45)withanaggregatesize0 mmto8mm, or: mortarcomplyingwiththerequirementsofEN
36、1961,usingatestmortarwith0mmto2mmstandardsand andCEMI42,5R. Bothtypesofsubstrateshallpreparedasdescribedin6.4and6.5ofEN1766:2000. StorethesesubstratesinaccordancewithEN106211foratleast7daysat(212)Cand(6010)% relativehumidity. Ifspecified,carryoutasurfacepreparation,eitherusingametallicbrushorbyabras
37、iveblastingin accordancewithEN1766,usinggritabrasive. Othersubstratesandtheirpreparationcanbeagreedbetweentheinterestedparties. 7.2 Numberanddimensions Usually,threetestpiecesareused.ThepreparationanddimensionsofthetestpiecesaregiveninannexC. NOTE Testpiecesoflargerdimensionsfacilitatetheapplication
38、ofthecoatingunderpracticalconditionsandamore uniformfilmthicknesswillbeachieved. 7.3 Coatingandconditioningofthesubstrates BeforecoatingmeasuretheroughnessindexinaccordancewithEN1766. Forpreparationofthetestpieces,coatthesubstrateandcurethetestpieceinaccordancewiththe manufacturersinstructions. Cond
39、itionthetestpiecesinaccordancewithEN106211priortotesting.Theconditioningmethodshallbe agreedbetweentheinterestedpartiesandstatedinthetestreport. 7.4Crackingofthetestpieces Makeanimmediatecrackintothecoatedsubstrateofthetestpieceat23C(seeannexC).Thecrackwidth shallbe 100m.Thenominalcrackpointshallbei
40、nthemiddleofthelengthofthetestpieces. 8Procedure 8.1Preparationofthetestapparatus Mountthedevicesformeasuringthecrackwidthontothetestpieceonbothsidesofthecrack.Alignthetest pieceinthetestapparatusinsuchamannerthattherelativemovementofthetestpieceandtheapparatusis negligibleinrelationtothecrackmoveme
