8、V37 and is the Engiish ianguage version of EN 12048 : 1996 Solid f - ground rock phosphates; - partMy solubilized rock phosphates. - natural phosphates; The method is not applicable to hydrated or burnt lime, and to ammonium compounds or magnesium Sulfates. 6 Preparation of the test sample I Prepare

9、 the test sample, without grinding, in accordance with EN 1482. If nec-, quickly crush (not grind) the material in a mortar. Mix ail the material and immediately take the test portion (7.1). NOTE 1. It is advisable to crush the matenal in an atmosphere of relative humiity 40 % to 60 %. 7 Procedure 7

10、.1 Test portion Dry the weighmg bottle (6.1) in the oven (6.4), set at 105 OC, for 2 h. AUow to cool to ambient temperaime in a desiccaor. Weigh to the nearest 0,001 g about 10 g of the test sample into the tared weighing bottle. 7.2 Determination 2 Normative reference This European Standard incorpo

11、rates by dated or undated reference, provisions from other publications. These normative references are cited at the appropriate places in the tat and the publications are listed hereafter. For dated references, subsequent amendments to or revisions of any of these publications apply to this Europea

13、ng loss in mass. 4 Material 4.1 Silica gel desiccant, self-indicaing, particle size 2 mm to 5 mm. Activate the silica gel, immediately prior to use, by placing about 100 g in the evaporating basin (6.3) and transferring the basin to the oven (6.4), set at 105 OC, for 2 h. T1.ansfer the basin with it

14、s contents to a desiccator and allow to cool to ambient temperature. Page 3 m12048:1996 Place the unstoppered weighing bottle (6.1) containing the test portion, and the stopper, in the oven (6.4), set at 105 OC, for 5 h. lhnsfer the weighing bottle and the stopper to the desiccator (6.2) and ailow t

15、o cool to ambient temperature. Open the desiccator, quickly restopper the weighmg bottle and weigh the bottle and its contents to the nearest 0,001 g. 8 Expression of results The moisture content of the fertilizer or of the liming material, expressed as a percentage by mass, is given by the formula.

20、3963 : 1977 Ferti.Jim - Sampling from a A.l General The foilowing precision data were determined from an experiment conducted in 1982 involving 21 laboratories using one sample of each of the following fertilizers ammonium suifate; naturai phosphate; superphosphate 18 % (granuiar and also powdered).

21、 The method used employed the grinding and sieving of the sample whereas the published method involves crushing, and therefore these data are included for information only A.2 Repeatability The Merence between two single test results obtained from identical test material by one analyst using the sam
