22、ofthisEuropeanStandard,thetermsand definitionsofEN124841to4togetherwiththerelevant unitsapply. 4 Inspectionandtestingforcommissioning 4.1Hydraulic Measurements Theacceptablemeasurementdeviceerrorshallbe:pressure2%,flow3%. Aftertheconformitycontrolaccordingtoclause4ofEN124844:2002,carryoutthefollowin

23、gmeasurements: 4.1.1 Measurementsatthesysteminlet Pressureshallbeinaccordancewiththedesignpressureoftheprojecttowithin 5%. Totalflowshallbeequaltotheflowaccordingtothedesignflowoftheprojecttowithin 5%. 4.2 Waterdistributionuniformitymeasurements Thepurposeofthewaterdistributionuniformitytests,perfor

24、medaccordingtoISO77492,istoverifythe performanceofthesystemaccordingtothedesignoftheproject.EN124845:2002(E) 5 4.2.1 Pressuremeasurementsatsprinklers Tapconnectionupstreamofthesprinklershallcomplywith4.1.5ofISO77492:1990. Onastation,pressure measurementsshallbemadewiththesamepressuregaugeatthemostpr

25、essurizedandlesspressurizedsprinkler pressurevariationbetweenthesetwosprinklersshallnotbegreaterthan20%.Thepressuremeasuredattheless pressurizedsprinklershallbeequaltothedesignpressureoftheproject.Thepressuremeasuredatthemost pressurizedsprinklershallbewithinthelimitofworkingpressurespecifiedbythema

26、nufacturer. 4.2.2 Characteristicsoftheareawherethemeasurementswillbemade Theareashallcorrespondtothespacingofthesprinklersdefinedinthedesign. Forasinglestation,atleasttwotestareas,representativeofthemostandlesspressurizedsprinklerzones,shall bemeasured. Thesurfaceareaonwhichthecollectorsareplacedsha

27、llbefreeofobstaclesthatcouldblockthespraytrajectory. Theheightofthevegetativecovershallnotexceed10cmto15cmsoasnottointerferewithspraydropletaccess tocollectors. 4.2.3 Characteristicsof collectors Thecollectorsshallbe: cylindrical,overatleastthetopthirdoftheirheight; oftheidenticalsizeandshape; withs

28、harpedgesonthecollectingsurface; constructedsothatnoneofthewatercollectedsplashesout. Theheightofthecollectorsshallbeatleasttwicetheaveragedepthofthewatercollectedduringthetestandnot lessthan15cm. Thediameterofthecollectoropeningshallbeequaltooneandahalftimesitsheightandnotlessthan8,5cm. Othercollec

29、tordesignsmaybeused,providedthattheirmeasuringaccuracyisnotlessthanthatdescribedabove. Theopeningsofall thecollectorsshallbehorizontal,withaverticalangletoleranceof5. 4.2.4 Characteristicsofatmospheric conditions ThemaximumpermissiblewindvelocityduringthetestisdefinedinISO77491:1995Table3. Velocitys

30、hallberecordedtothenearest0,2m/sanddirectionstothenearest10.Thedirectionshallbenotedwith respecttothemainaxisofthecollectorgridlayout. Windvelocitysensingequipmentshallbelocatedat2,0mheight. Asecondmeasurementcanbemadeatahigher heightforsprinklerswithatrajectoryheightofmorethan2,0m.Thesensorheightsh

31、allbeequaltothehighest pointinthetrajectoryofthesprinklermainnozzle 10% . Windvelocitymeasurementshallbecarriedoutatadistancenotgreaterthan45mawayfromthemeasurement area.Themaximumpermissiblewindvelocityis0,9m/s. Atthebeginningofthedistributionuniformitytestandduringthetest,thewindvelocityanddirecti

32、onshallbe measuredatintervalsnotexceeding15min. Therelativehumidityandambienttemperatureshallbe measuredatthebeginningandattheendofthetest.EN124845:2002(E) 6 4.2.5 Pressuremeasurement Thepressure,atthestationentry, shallbeadjustedtothedesignpressure. Thepressureshallbemeasuredatthesprinklerinletandk

33、eptconstantoverthedurationofthetestwitha deviationof4%. 4.2.6 Durationoftests Careshallbetakeninstartingandstoppingteststoavoiddirectdepositionincollectorsbyunderpressuredjetsor unstablerotationalmovement.Actualtestdurationshallbelongenoughtoprovidemeasurableamountsofwaterin thecollectorscompatiblew

34、iththeaccuracyrequiredforthetest. Forsprinklerswithprogrammedvariationsinoperatingcharacteristics,thedurationofthetestshallbelongenough tosubjectallcollectorstothesameoperationalsequences. 4.2.7 Locationofcollectors Thecollectorsshallbearrangedinasquaregridovertheentiretestarea(seeFigure1).Gridspaci

35、ngbetweentwo adjacentcollectorsshallbe: 2mmaximumforsprinklerswithradiuslargerthan10m; 1mmaximumforsprinklerswithradiusbetween5mand10m; 0,5mmaximumforsprinklerswithradiussmallerthan5m.
