19、SwitzerlandandtheUnitedKingdom.EN128101:2003(E) 4 Introduction Basedontherequirementsspecified,amanufacturerproposesafaadescaffoldsystemandputsitforwardfor assessmentandcertificationofconformitywiththerequirementsofthisEuropeanStandard.Thestructuraldesign andassessmentiscarriedoutusingthestandardset

20、ofsystemconfigurationschosenbythemanufacturer,taking accountoftherequirementsofthisstandard. ManyofthedetailedrequirementsaregiveninEN128111,prEN128112andEN128113withwhichthis EuropeanStandardshouldberead,EN128102givesrequirementsforparticularmethodsofstructuraldesign.A faadescaffoldsystem,whichhasb

21、eensuccessfullyassessedwillalsosatisfythecorrespondingrequirementsof EN128111,prEN128112andEN128113.Itmaybeusedwithoutanyfurthercalculationwithinthescopeofthe standardsetofsystemconfigurations.Iftheperformancerequirementsaremoreonerous,oriftheapplicationis outsidethestandardsetofsystemconfigurations

22、,thenfurthercalculationsmaybeneededinordertoshowthat sufficientresistanceandstiffnessisprovided. Itisanticipatedthatsomesystemswillbeabletoconformtotherequirementsofseveralclasses. ThisconversionofHD1000intoaEuropeanStandardisintendedtocreateacommontechnicalbasefordesign. Thisstandardhasanarrowersco

23、pethanHD1000becausemuchhasbeentransferredtoEN128111,prEN 128112andEN128113.EN128101:2003(E) 5 1Scope ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheperformancerequirementsandthegeneralrequirementsforstructural designandassessmentforprefabricatedfaadescaffoldsystems.Thefaadescaffoldsareintendedforusewhile connected

24、tothefaadewithties.Scaffoldsystemsareclassifiedbysixcriteria,seeTable1. Itislimitedtofaadescaffoldsystemsthathavestandardsmadeofsteeloraluminiumalloyandhaveother elementsmadeofthesematerialsortimberbasedmaterials. Itdefinesastandardsetofsystemconfigurationsunderwhichthestructuraldesigniscarriedout.O

25、ther configurationsmaybepossiblewithsomesystems,buttheyareoutsidethescope. ThisstandardshouldbereadinconjunctionwithEN128111,prEN128112,EN128113andEN128102which specifycertainoftherequirements. Thisstandarddoesnotspecifyrequirementsforprotectionfans.Itdoesnotgiveinformationabouterection,use, dismant
