ThisEuropeanStandardconcernsatestmethodagainstblastwavesinopenairresultingfromhighexplosivesthat canbecarriedbyhandandplacedafewmetresfromatarget.Atsuchclosedistancesblastvaluesvaryacrossan attackface.Controlledmeasurementoftheactualblastonthefa
18、ceofthetestspecimen beingdifficult,costlyand subjecttoinaccuracy,consistencyoftheblastforcesistherefore controlledinthisEuropeanStandardbythe characteristicsoftheexplosivechargeanditslocation.
