20、eachcycle.Astainisappliedtothesurfaceto aidinthedetectionofcrazingcracks. 3.2 MethodB Samplesareheatedinatestovenandthencooledrapidlyinacoldwaterbathundercontrolledconditionsinorder tosubjectthearticlestothermalshock. Thermalshocktestsarerepeatedusingincreasingtemperaturedifferences.Thesamplesareexa

NOTE Itisenvisagedthatallsampleswillfailbeforethecompletionofthefifthcycle.Wherethisdoesnothappenitis consideredthattheresultwillnotchangesignificantlywithextendedtesting.Therefore,terminatetheproc
