Removegranularparticlesgreaterthan6,3mmbeforemixing. Producethemixtureinaccordancewithpracticeattheplaceofuse,reproducingthetimeperiodsbetweenthe introduc

36、tionofthebinder(s)andcompaction.Assessthequalityofmixingvisually(uniformityofcolourandthe granularcharacteristicsofthemixture). Thequantityofmixturetobepreparedshallbesufficienttopermittherealisationofthetestitself,andthatof theonepoint“NormalProctor”forthewatercontentandbinderdosageselected.Foragiv

37、enmixture,these quantitiesshallnotbelessthan4,5kgwhentheProctormouldisusedandnotlessthan7kgwhenthe Californiabearingratiomouldisused.
