29、train,elasticcompressivestrainetc. 5Apparatus 5.1 Compressivecreeprig: comprisingasupportframeandflatjackarrangementcapableofmaintainingthe creepload(see 3.1)alongthelongitudinalaxisofthecompressivecreeptestspecimens(see 5.5)foratleast 26weeksandbecapableofapplyingaloadatarateofbetween200N/sand1000N

30、/s.Theverticalpillars connectingtheplatensoftherig(see5.2)shallhaveastiffness(axialload/axialdeflection)ofnotlessthan 250kN/mm.Theyincorporateameansofadjustmenttoprovideaparallelismtolerancebetweentheupperand lowerplatenof0,06mm. NOTE Asuitablehydrauliccompressivecreeprigcapableoftestingtwotestspeci

31、menssimultaneouslyisillustratedin Figure2 .Theincorporationofagas/oilaccumulatorinthehydraulicsystemservestoextendthetimebetweenoccasionswhen itwillbenecessarytopumpoilinordertomaintaintheconstantvaluesforthedurationofthetest.Thecompressiveloadan d hencethecompressivestressappliedtothetestspecimensc

32、anthenbemonitoredbyaloadcellconformingtoISO376 insertedbetweentheuppertestspecimensandtheupperplatenoftherig. 5.2 Loadplatens incontactwiththespecimens(see 5.5)shallhaveastiffness(axialload/centraldeflection)of notlessthan2500kN/mmtoavoidexcessivedeformationduringloadings.Theflatnesstoleranceforthea

33、reaof theplatenincontactwiththeloadcellshallconformtoEN123901 . 5.3 Spacingblocks usedbetweenthetestspecimenandtheflatjack(see 5.1)toreducethetestspaceandto compensateforanybowdevelopedinthefacesoftheflatjackwhenunderpressure.Thespacingblocksareeither circularorsquareinsection,toenablethetestspecime

34、nstobecorrectlycentredandsupportthemoverthewhole areaoftheirends.Thepropertyofthematerial,thesurfaceflatnessandthesurfacetextureofthecontactfacesof allspacingblocksshallconformtoEN123901 . 5.4 Sphericalseating isincorporatedbetweentheloadcell(see 5.1)andthetopendpieceofthecompressive creeptestspecim

35、en(see 5.5)topreventeccentricloading. 5.5 Moulds shallbeofmetalandsuitableforthecastingofthecompressivecreeptestspecimensintheformof prisms40mmx40mmx160mmwithinthetolerancesfordimensionsandshapeofEN123901. 36、ivityof20 m m/m.Thestraingauges shallbeconnectedtoequipmentcapableofprovidingreadingsofthestrainatanytime.Theyshallbecalibratedby amethodtraceabletoanationalorinternationalstandardoflengthmeasurement.Theerrorshallnotexceed2% oftheactualstrain. 5.7 Standardlaboratoryclimate ,inaccordancewithannexA. 5

37、8 Mixer ofthestandardtypespecifiedforproducingcementmortarsinEN1961or forcedactionpanmixer formixingtheconstituentsoftherepairmortarorconcrete. 6Preparation 6.1General Thefollowingprocedureshallbeusedtoprepareaminimumofthreespecimensforthetest,conformingto EN123901. 6.2 Castingoftestspecimens Theco

38、mponentsoftheproductundertestshallbemaintainedatthestandardlaboratoryclimate(see 5.7)forat least24hoursbeforemixing.Therepairproductorsystemshallbemixedinaccordancewiththemanufacturers recommendationsandthencompactedinthemouldstoformthecompressivecreeptestspecimens.The specimensshallthenbecuredinacc

39、ordancewithannexAuntilreadyfortesting. NOTE Forpreference,asupplierscompletepackofpreweightedcomponentsshouldbeused,butwherethisisnot practicabletheproportioningofthecomponentsshouldbestrictlyinaccordancewiththemanufacturersrecommended procedure. 6.3Conditioning Oncompletionofcuring,thespecimensshal

40、lbeconditionedforatleast24hoursinthestandardlaboratoryclimate (see 5.7).Forthetotalperiodoftest,thetestspecimensandallpartsofthetestequipmentinclosecontactwith them,ifnottheentiretestequipment(see 5.1to 5.4),shallbemaintainedunderthestandardlaboratoryconditions (see 5.7). 6.4Measurement Measurethehe

41、ight,widthandlengthofeachspecimenatthemidpointofeachsidetoanaccuracyof0,1mm andcalculateitscrosssectionalareafromtheheightandwidth 7Procedure Thefollowingprocedureshallbeusedformeasuringthecompressivecreepofeachspecimen. 7.1 Preparationfortesting Fittwostraingauges(see 5.6)tooppositecastsidesofthete

42、standcontrolspecimens,theirgaugelengthsbeing centrallylocatedoverthelongitudinalaxisofthespecimens. Wipecleanthebearingsurfacesoftheloadplatens(see 5.2)andspacingblocks(see 5.3)ofthecreeprig,andthe endsofthetestspecimens.Placethetestspecimensinthetestrigsuchthattheloadisappliedthroughthe longitudina

43、laxisandcentrethewholeassemblycarefully. Donotusepackingatanyoftheinterfacesbetweenthetestspecimens,spacingblocks,loadcellorplatens.
